What are your thoughts on Halloween?

I have a 3 & 5 year old, and I love it. Not exactly what you were expecting, was it?

    Garage Door Opener

One other thing, we have a single garage door for a two car garage. Should I go with a 3/4 hp or is a 1/2 hp sufficient?

    Garage Door Opener

I need to install an opener in a brand new garage. Are there any brands that are easier or more difficult to install, or are they all pretty much the same? I've replaced a couple in the past, but never had to put one up where there never was one before.

Thought about those. But, personally, I'm not a fan of companies that won't list prices without meeting with one of their reps. I hate sales tactics.

Attaching metal gazebo to wood deck

The problem is that I'm having a system installed under the deck that will keep the patio area underneath it dry. So I won't have access to the bottom of the deck boards without removing those panels. The deck is still under construction.

Attaching metal gazebo to wood deck

    Don't have any pics, but it's roughly a 20'x16' deck and a 10'x12' gazebo.

Attaching metal gazebo to wood deck

Jesus was a carpenter, so he probably just would have built a roof that was attached to the deck.

Attaching metal gazebo to wood deck

We're building a deck on our house and the back of our house faces southwest, so we get a lot of sun. We wanted to create a shady area on the deck, so we are thinking about getting a metal gazebo from Lowe's. It gets pretty breezy here, as our house is up on a ridge, so I figured I needed to...

Kitchenguys - I have a question about what size refrigerator will fit

In my best Johnny Carson voice, "I did not know that." Thanks.

Kitchenguys - I have a question about what size refrigerator will fit

Technically, it's the dining room. But for us it's going to probably be a living room/kids room. It's the first room on the right when you walk in the front door, so you already only have one full wall on the right, a window wall (front of the house) and a partial wall on the left where the...

Kitchenguys - I have a question about what size refrigerator will fit

Unfortunately not. This was a house that was already built and in drywall when we stumbled across it. I'm thinking someone bailed out on it after they started building it, although the builder has never said that. They gave us $20K in upgrade incentives. So the design is the design. The only...

Kitchenguys - I have a question about what size refrigerator will fit

Yes, there are definitely narrower models, I was thinking maybe someone makes a hinge that required less extra clearance.
