Is there any talk of Watson going pro this year? I'm probably overreacting based on one performance, but he looked plenty ready. He's got every tool and made some great throws into some NFL tight windows.

Seems like proper use to me. Look at people freaking out of Burfict's hit. A couple of decades ago that's called a great play. I remember with LBs were lauded for destroying WRs going over the middle. But no, we get proof of an increased risk of future mental problems that we've been dealing...

Yeah, "head-hunting". These players just must have insane reflexes to react at full speed to a player's head lowering in less than half a second with the intention of injury. Right... The legal system that won't allow players to take the an increased risk of head injuries to play the sport...

It would have been a legal hit for many, many years. It's only in recent years that's a penalty.

As they should because they intentionally hid medical information from players. But now that the info is all out there, I don't buy it. The risk is inherant to the game.

For the Cowboys, I'd say Gary Hogeboom. Steve Pelluer was equally awful though. The only other one with 5 or more starts that is in consideration is Jerry Rhome back in the 60s. Lower the limit to 3 and Ryan Leaf is the obvious pick. Could be Weeden in the few weeks now :(
