9.something - Dave Davenport, SP
400+ innings of low HR/9 pitching and will allow me to run a 4 man rotation quite comfortably. Whether he'll be any good or not is another matter...
Oof, no pm? :lmao:
Luckily my guy is still there.
6.07 - Harlond Clift, 3B (1938)
Ballpark - Sicks' Stadium, Seattle
Changed stadium pick in the edit, hope that's ok.
I think my strategy is going to be quite simple. Play in a small park and draft big sluggers and pitchers with good HR/9 numbers. Last time I concentrated on good OBP or WHIP and ended up with a pretty average team, so lets try the opposite approach.
Difficult to say that you'll see a worse read than that this season. The DB was just running right under Floyd step for step, he was smack bang in the path of the passing lane, but Rivers threw it anyway.
I was debating between Tudor and Williams for my last pick. Decided to go with the bat as I already have a pitcher, but already starting to second guess myself. Two excellent starters at the top of the rotation would be a nice thing to have.
Punting on the opposition 35yd line is almost always moronic, I'll never understand why coaches do it. They only gained 23yds of field position from that punt. It was only 6 yards for a first, or you could even go for a long FG instead.
