Someone in my league just dropped Vick, hoping to pick him up.
Expect him to play well against the Saints this week for obvious reasons and maybe have a little momentum.
Otherwise looking at Ponder or Alex Smith.
For my league on CBS -
Foster in 2010 - 349 pts, 2011 projections - 289
Hillis in 2010 - 255 pts, 2011 projections - 195
Foster's 2011 - 82.8% of his 2010 stats
Hillis' 2010 - 76.4% of his 2010 stats
I agree and expect that both regress (especially in projections) but I'm still kinda...
I'd hold Brees straight up over the young guys. He's not too old, has a bunch of weapons, and a coach who loves to throw the ball.
Peyton is really close to me. It would really depend on how far away I was from contending because I still think he has at least 2 or 3 years of being near the top...
I'm not too bothered yet.
I understand why they're fighting each other over every cent and I don't really blame anyone for getting as much as they can/not being taken advantage of. I still (optimistically) think they get a deal done without missing any real football.
But if they start to miss...
I thought it was pretty good, but I'm a sucker for all the catchy crap.
No matter what, I think it's better than most bands who were in their prime 30 yrs ago.
He said his ankle is getting better every day and seems pretty upbeat. Hopefully that means he's able to play next week.
Also, they didn't give him the IR treatment like they did with Pierre or Ivory, so that should mean something too.
this whole post makes a lot of sense. skill guys that are taken in the 1st round obv have (or at least should have) a lot of talent and the pick at 1.7 or 1.8 comes a lot cheaper than paying the premium on 1.1 or 1.2. one thing i've definitely learned - i have to pay more attention to the rookie...
good response, thanks.i like the idea of finding the top tier of players and maybe getting in at the end of that tier. whether it's pick 3 or 4 or whatever.
I'm still pretty new to dynasties and trying to figure out what draft picks are worth. I feel OK when it comes to making normal trades but as far as playing the draft game I'm clueless.
To get me started... What is 1.1 worth?
Obv it depends on the scoring, need, talent of draft class, etc but...
