I think people aren't understanding the conversation topic. Of course you are allowed to do whatever you want. Of course people who care a lot about someone else's business are a bit ridiculous. But the idea of the conversation is to discuss when it is broadly considered legitimate to switch...

Simmons is pretty much on target, I think. So your friend is okay. He took the Orioles because DC didnt have a team but then switched to the hometown team when they got one. I think that's fine. And anyone who wants to root for the Nats is A-OK in my book. Why would anyone put themselves...

If it were, the Pats wouldnt have anyone to play since the Jets and Colts both would have lost last weekend... That was painful not knowing who you wanted to win less...

Havent read the thread, but I'm going to guess the Pats. Brady has been having like 15 pass attempts the last several weeks, much to my surprise. But we've been nursing leads and then had the game with no offensive snaps at all, and that would be very surprising, so there's my guess.

Reporter seemed like a jackass and the DA 'meltdown' wasn't nearly as big as I imagined before seeing the clip. Kinda funny/interesting, but this really is not much of a story, IMO. He wasn't even yelling, just talking kinda quickly/forcefully.

Last week I lost by 2 points because I waited to see if Gates would play and ended up with McMichael's zero. This week I decided to play Bo Scaife instead of waiting to see if Gates plays. And of course I lose by 2 points because Scaife scores 1 and Gates scores 4.5. WTF.
