He sent over the trade offer earlier today, and I don't know why, but he decided to make sure I agreed to trade him Goff, so he threw a 4th round pick in the rookie draft next year. I hit accept pretty quickly. Thanks!
I'm in a 12 team PPR dynasty and my QB's are Jared Goff, Russell Wilson, Bryce Young, and Will Levis on taxi squad. My RB's are Henry, Mixon, Allgeier, Herbert, and Foreman. I have a team that's interested in acquiring Goff or Levis in exchange for Tyjae Spears. It feels like Henry may be gone...
If someone offers that in writing to anyone on our league, our rules state clearly that it is collusion, and I as commissioner I can remove them immediately.
Thursday night games need to go. I know the NFL has an appetite for more prime time games during the week, but the product they're putting on the field on short weeks is pure dreck. At least maybe flex those games, the matchups so far have been garbage.
And overall, most games just look sloppy...
Dropped him in all redraft. He can be someone else's anxiety. Will you get 2 points? Will you get 25? Maybe a goose egg while you watch Stafford throw his 19th target of the game to Kupp? No thanks.
I really, really want to believe this. But the problem is that the Rams have already been in a variety of game scenarios (2 blowout losses, 1 close win, 1 comfortable win), and ARob's target share has been 2, 5, 5, and 6. At no point does the game script seem to persuade Stafford to throw LESS...
Dumb veto. 99% of trades should go through. This was probably vetoed based on name power and not actual performance. I would appeal to the league. If it isn't allowed to go through, there's a million other FF leagues out there for next year.
Dillon is my choice this year. I'm reminded of that quote that says something like "If you're in love with two people, choose the second, because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second". It just feels like they want an excuse to give more to Dillon.
The main reason I started subscribing to Footballguys (over 20 years ago now, I believe, at least I know it was back in the Old Yeller days) was because I realized early the pitfalls of relying on just one or two peoples' projections. I understood how valuable a consensus of proven winners would...
This year he's the player I target for my 2nd lottery ticket on my redraft teams. His ceiling is too high to dismiss out of hand. That said, because I go in with that strategy, he has slipped to me twice (11th round both times), and twice been snapped up before I would consider him. Which seems...
The guy actually made moves so that he got 1.03 and 1.05 this year, then takes K. Pickett and C. Watson. I was floored. So for trading back from 1.03 to 1.10, I ended up with Williams at 1.10, Rachaad White at 2.08, and his picks next year. I'm pretty happy with that.
He fell to me at 1.10 in my dynasty rookie draft. I had just traded out of 1.3 to acquire the other owner's 1.10, 2.8, and his 2023 1st, 2nd, and 4th round picks. I yoinked Williams with delight. I understand he may not contribute a lot this year. But since I had been already trying to trade...
