More concerned about the o-line starting three backups than I am about Gabbert. Feels like a 5 rec/40 yards kinda game with the Titans never getting a TD all day.
Yo Sig. Corey Davis, Albert Morris, or Brandon Marshall in half PPR? More concerned about TENN being down three starting OL than about Gabbert, but still concerned. Marshall seems appealing given that I don’t see SEA run game going anywhere in Chicago...
I don't think Hyde is really any more likely to be persona non grata by week 14 than any other back. For all the talk, he is the goal line back, primary receiving back, and has dominated snaps. I really haven't seen any evidence that won't continue.
I'd also say he's had just one serious...
Here is another data point for DJ: I was just offered Julio and some scraps for DJ and Chris Godwin. This is probably the best offer I've gotten in terms of balancing win-now with still getting something good for the next 3 years or so.
Other offers in the past two weeks include a...
Well, there was Peterson earlier this week. But your point stands--the 49ers aren't likely to get much for Hyde, if anything, even though he's really good.
::shrug:: I certainly don't have any insider info, but I'm just going by what I saw. Hyde looked a little slow off the blocks and typically he doesn't.
I think Hyde is actually still a bit limited by the oblique injury. He says it didn't have anything to do with that, but it's probably affecting his performance even if he isn't really feeling the pain of it anymore.
Basically, I would only be downgrading Hyde weekly if there are signs of an...
I'm more talking about carries. Kamara isn't getting 10 receptions every week, but I do think he'll settle in at 5-7 rushes now. He will always be in the mix for 4-7 receptions, but those rushes give him additional stability.
Ingram gets stability in that he won't have many more 7 or 8 carry...
Ingram had 16 two weeks ago when AD had 9, and 18 in week 4 when AD had 4. I think 16-18/week is likely, which is basically what Ingram has operated with his past two very successful seasons.
Kamara gets a nice boost too. I think he's now looking at 12+ touches a la week 4. He's fully ready...
LOL at all the tools revealing themselves in this thread. Every NFL player you call a primadonna or "bad guy on the field" has almost certainly given more of their time and money to charities and communities than you ever will. Is it hilarious and absurd when Odell Beckham fights a kicking...
I think I'm flexing Hogan over him in a couple places. Even though it looks like he's active, I don't like an injury that lingers for 10 days if I can avoid it.
I agree. He already has a clearer path to long-term success than plenty of 2nd round picks ever will. A 2nd also probably doesn't outweigh the value you'd get just from using him the rest of this season.
I doubt you're going to find many Martin owners who'll deal him now that he's one week away. You'd need a fairly perfect storm, like a Martin owner who also happened to hit on Hunt and Hyde, picked up one of Cohen, Carson, etc., and already feels set at RB. And you'd certainly have to offer...
Neither Ginn nor Coleman have distinguished themselves that much in Snead's absence. Fleener had a couple of nice games, but he did the same when Snead was out last year. I think he's startable right off the bat.
I don't think Carson is a great start this week, even though I do think he's looking at 15+ carries. Fournette couldn't get anything going against Tennessee last week. Lynch had a nice game week 1, but the Raiders' line is several tiers above what Seattle's putting out there.
I think we're...
Ridiculously strong game-saving tackle by Barron on that play. I think it was Celek he beat to the spot and then he got juuuuust enough on Hyde's leg to bring him down.
Great performance from both backs last night. Shanahan seems to be getting a handle on his personnel and how to push the...
