I'm thinking Cobb's value rises if anything- sure he'll get more attention but it'll be more than offset by the uptick in targets. He was targeted less than 8 times a game last year and ended up with 90+ grabs. Given how efficient he is on a per target basis even 20-30 more targets for him...
I own Graham in 3 out of 4 leagues- his injury hit my teams pretty hard as I wasn't holding a backup TE on any of them. Let's talk about potential options.
1. Jace Amaro- Not many targets in the offense for Geno to go to. Patriots gave up over 100 yards to Scott Chandler and lost Mayo. Plays...
I'm liking Romo a lot as a buy low, but given most people drafted him as a starter, I'd imagine they don't wanna give up on him yet. He made some terrible decisions out there, but the offense seemed to move the ball on the 49ers pretty easily. If you waited on QB and ended up with...
I'm in a non-PPR 14 team league and am not a big fan of the RBs available in the late 1st and late 3rd round. The league has two flex positions (RB/WR/TE). I have been thinking things through for a while and am contemplating taking Graham in the 1st and Gronk in the 3rd- I was wondering if...
Based on what I'm seeing in mocks, I'm guessing Cordarelle Patterson is going to be one of the most popular answers to this question.
For me it's Emmanuel Sanders. The top 3 targets in a Peyton Manning offense almost always seem to provide fantasy points on a week to week basis.
I'm also...
I am not getting the Andre Johnson hate at all. At his best Schuab in Houston was an above average QB, he was mediocre for large portions of his tenure there. Andre had over 1400 receiving yards last year- do you really think the QB play could be much worse than it was? They had the worst team...
I just don't see Edelman getting close to 150+ targets this year. To amass those numbers, Gronkowski, Dobson, Amendola, and Vereen all had to miss significant time last year. The New England receiving corps was decimated last year. I believe in Edelman's talent, but the opportunity just isn't...
I wasn't big on Steven Jackson and Devonta Freeman to begin with, but the Baker injury bumps them down further in my rankings. Not sure what to do about the elements of the ATL passing offense. I will likely keep Julio and Roddy White around the same area but may move Ryan down a tier. This is...
I certainly do- but I think even though Richardson's and Lacy's situation are similar from a YPC standpoint, there situations are really dissimilar in a lot of other respects.
Green Bay's offense is arguably the most high powered in the league. Aaron Rodgers always plays fantastic regardless of...
Can't you make this argument for elite players at any position? I'm sure retroactive VBD analysis would show Demaryius Thomas justify a pick near the end of the first round last year....but I could try to hit on an undervalued 3rd/4th round WR who I think has a shot to match his numbers.
I...
But if you had to choose between the two??
I think I would have to pick Demaryius by a decent sized margin for a lot of the reasons already stated. It's a much safer pick and I'm looking to minimize risk early on.
