🏈🏈🏈 OFFICIAL 2024 NFL DRAFT THREAD - LIVE FROM MOTOWN 🏈🏈🏈 (2 Viewers)

as raider fan he loves the pick, as a fantasy nerd he hates it :ptts:
Not sure why. If the guy's a stud he's a stud and he'll get his. He can line up in the slot, backfield, H, all kinds of spots. He makes Meyers and Mayer look like JAGs in comparison. The RB on the roster are 2 down thumpers, he could take that role away from those donkeys too.
He loves it as a raider fan getting Bowers.

He hates it because his Meyer share looks pretty, pretty bad right now. And he turned down a couple valuable offers for Meyer this offseason, from me.

So…

18
19
20
21-Miami....OMG they are within a couple picks from a real shot in the arm on Defense
JPJ also floating around at IOL, 21 might be a little high but Miami has to find a trade partner...so far the trades have been pretty mild tonight

Mannnn, too many options here for the Bengals. How can you pass on DeJean? Also two good OT in Mims and Fautanu, not to mention Newton.

Davante turns 32 this year and Meyers deal is very cuttable next year as well. The theme this year for the early rookie drafts may be you have to wait a year or two for everybody. Nabers in NYG, Rome blocked by Keenan & Moore, Bowers has Minshew for a year.

Didn’t Bree’s just fall in his hands..trade maybe ..Payton is no whisperer. I’d say the game has passed his style behind…will see…
Free Agency - Brees tore the labrum in his throwing shoulder in his last game for the Chargers. The Bolts made him a low-ball offer to stay. The Dolphins had some interest but preferred Dante Culpepper. The Saints were essentially the only team with an interest in him.

Vikings draft is going to be quite a study.
McCarthy & Turner are a good pair. But it cost Minnesota 5 picks this year (2 1st, 4th, 2 5ths) and 2 next year (3rd & 4th) for a 6th and those two players.

Bengals pick is in

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝗻: The #Bengals select Amarius Mims with the 18th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Why? lol. Just let us see it on tv.
Because maybe not everyone is watching TV
But are only watching it in this thread and can peek but STILL have to wait 3 minutes to even comment on your post? LOL... just wait a few min.

Kwesi track record when trading down is not great so I will accept it.

Gotcha, I wasn't following the Mayer (not Meyer, that's Jakobi and plural) angle, thought you meant for Bowers' fantasy outlook. Yes, Mayer owners are sadfacing right now.

If you're not first you're last!

Rams pick is in

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝗻: The #Rams select Jared Verse with the 19th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Miami taking a WR in the 1st would be about the same as Atlanta taking a QB earlier tonight at No 8 overall after signing Cousins to big money
