We're 8 minutes into the Monday night game and the cutline has gone up by exactly 1 point. I have 14 more points to spare. So far so good...

Unfortunately, cutline changes should accelerate through the game as guys pass the counting/non-counting thresholds...
At this rate no one will be passing the counting/non-counting thresholds any time soon.

That's for sure. I guess everyone who owns Coby Fleener is cleaning up, but that's about it. Halftime now and the cutline is up by 4.9 points.

All in at 148.55 and think it will be close, cant believe it went up almost 5 points with whats happened on field

Luck with four TDs is pushing the line up single-handedly. Even though he has spread the four TDs among four receivers, many of them are likely scoring for folks as well and Vinatieri is pushing my score upwards slightly.

The #3 overall team (114139) is currently sitting WAY below the cut line at 86.30 with Luck on deck and Antonio Brown still in play. Could be dicey. Gronk was the only guy on his team to show up this week. It's crazy to think how quickly you can go from a 227.90 week and no performance worse than 178.10 to eliminated.
Luck and Brown did their part... but it wasn't quite enough for the #3 overall seed.

Final total = 143.60 Points

Cutoff = 144.05 Points

Another heavy-hitter bites the dust.

I have the St. Louis Rams DST at 11 points on the website, but I think it should be 12. I'll wait and see how it shakes out but if you're close to the cut and counting on the Rams D, keep that in mind.
I checked and I'm pretty sure FBG has this right, so I changed the score on my site. Everything is now updated through the end of week 9.

holy crap, I am still alive, I thought I was a goner for sure but I forgot I had Edleman on this team

winning this week with this at Qb and RB is shocking.... Bonus life!

Russell Wilson 12.05
Jay Cutler 0.00
Geno Smith 0.00
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Montee Ball out?
Eddie Lacy 0.00
Carlos Hyde 3.20
Shonn Greene 0.00
Benny Cunningham 7.80

First week Bradshaw didn't count for me; Antonio is my lone every-week guy.

DeAngelo, Latimer, Beasley, and Marlon Brown still have not counted.

Ben/Antonio/KBenjamin all off in week 12 is looking scary, so I'll probably die in week 11 with nobody of consequence on bye :P

Cracked the top 50 for the first time.

Really need Jackson and Ball to have miraculous recoveries or I join the ranks of those taking 0s at RB :(

Whew. Twelve zeros on my 25-man team, including all my RBs, and only five guys scored above 8. And yet somehow I'm alive, squeaking over the line with 1.7 points to spare.

Awards and notable teams of the week.

Strongest Living Team: Entry 102658 is still in the lead, averaging 205.9, but the lead has shrunk to a bit under 4 points.

Strongest Dead Team: As documented in this thread, Entry 114139 was a top-3 team until getting eliminated this week. They're still the 35th-best scoring team overall.

Keep Your Day Job Award: Wow. Entry 104264 came out of nowhere over the last 3 weeks to take a big lead here. Their pathetic 57.25 this week drops their season average to 81.0, a full 3.5 points better than the previous "leader", Entry 108654.

Safest Team: We have a new leader here too. And in fact, the new leader is the Strongest Living Team. Entry 102658 has cleared the cutline by at least 47 points every week.

Just Skating By Award: Well, so much for the battle we had here. Entry 110829, who had a very slim lead last week, is now pretty comfortably ahead in this category. This team has cleared the cutline by a cumulative 100.1 points, or just over 11 per week. The team that was right on his tail last week, 1rebmun, collapsed this week, scoring in the 70s on his way to elimination.

Icarus Award: No surprise here. The Strongest Dead Team, Entry 114139, was 3rd overall before being eliminated this week.

Woulda Coulda Shoulda Award: See Icarus Award.

Steady Eddie Award: Brede, Entry 100143, is the living team with the lowest standard deviation, at 7.05. This team has scored between 155.9 and 176.5 every single week.

Bipolar Award: cunning runts (Entry 103043) is the living team with the highest standard deviation, at 46.9. They scored in the 150s three times, but their last two weeks, 290 and 243, have propelled them into the lead here.

Notable Teams:

QBs: FightinIrish (Entry 101575) is the only one of the 47 teams with 7 or more QBs (FightinIrish has exactly 7) to survive, and it's been that way for a couple weeks now.

RBs: We lost another 12-RB team, bringing us down to the final one, Flying Hogs (Entry 104671).

WRs: No change here. 18 teams started with 12 WRs. Three are still alive.

TEs: And no change here. Two teams with 7 TEs survive, Entry 108153 and Patsrule (Entry 106386).

PKs: An easy week for 12-kicker guy (Entry 111066), praise be!

DEFs: All the 7-D teams are dead. There is one living 6-D team, Entry 000001 (that's the team's name, it's really Entry 108423).

More to come later...

And now the players:

Eliminated Players: Unbelievable. Dion Lewis is still the only dead player. There are six other guys hanging on with one owner. I don't know if this is typical, but I'm really surprised we haven't seen more carnage.

The Biggest Mistake: The usual suspects, Matt Prater is at 3.1% survival and Calvin Johnson is at 4.4%.

The Survivor: DeMarco Murray was knocked off his perch this week. The highest percentage survival belongs to Mychal Rivera, at 34.5%.

The Bargain: Hard to argue with Mychal Rivera, who cost you $3 and has the best survival rate in the entire contest.

The Parasite and The Zero: The same 27 guys here: Matt Schaub with a season total of -1 points and the other 26 with zero. Cody Latimer is the most heavily owned.

Some new categories:

The Grim Reaper: This is incredibly close. There are 5082 dead Jay Cutlers out there and 5073 dead Kelvin Benjamins. Nobody else has even 3600 dead copies of himself not running around.

The Life of the Party: The player with the most living copies of himself is...Kelvin Benjamin! Yeah, he was on A LOT of teams.

Always the Bridesmaid, Never the Bride: Antonio Brown comes in 2nd in both the Survivor and Life of the Party categories. Lots of people own him, and lots of those people are very very happy. (Including me!)

who are the 6 with one owner left?

I'd lay money on it now - the winner of this contest has Calvin. (I don't)

Taking Fitz over Brown continues to be my top regret. Closely followed by Cam over Ben.

who are the 6 with one owner left?
According to the o.ffense weekly stats for week 9, these 9 players had one surviving entry.

Case Keenum

Anthony Sherman

Jackie Battle

Daryl Richardson

Charles Sims

Tiquan Underwood

Nate Burleson

Jerome Simpson

Clay Harbor

Yes, those are the 9. 'Six' was an error: I didn't scroll all the way up after filtering the list. Thanks.

Very glad to be the sole Clay Harbor owner.... he's actually counted 3(?) times for me to date. Hopefully he becomes Bortles' security blanket going down the stretch. I don't expect Gronk/Graham numbers, but those occassional mid-teen tallies are a nice little bonus.

The remaining 229 Peterson owners could be in for a nice boost

EDIT* Entry 102410 has a terrifying team lol

Really looking forward to Calvin Johnson coming back; he could be a huge difference maker for me. Might need him this week with Foster and Gronk on bye while I'm dealing with a very thin team.

Calvin's return could be huge for his owners. I was cheering for the ranks of his owners to be completely culled before his return. I have a feeling he's going to be an unstoppable force.

I am out know, but that one Charles Simms owner could be in for a huge bonus if they make it to the last couple weeks.

Much more unique than mine. I need Larry fitzgerald to do well. Not counting on it.

That sole remaining green/calVin owner looks really tough, probably a favorite to win it all with those two, Murray, bell, Graham, Dez, and not much dead weight.

He has to make it through week 11 withouth Murray and Dez though. The kind of roster that a couple clunkers and a high cut-line can derail.

Carrying three 0s and 2.1 from Dalton. Need Cutler, Benjamin and Rivera to come up big or it is the end of the road.

Graham at least makes it interesting.

Thanks to some late game usage for Ingram, Bryant going off at the PK slot, and Sanders I'm up to 148 but largely done. I have Ertz - 7.6 but that's likely not going to help much.

Any Pre-Game guesses on what the cutline might be this week? 150s? 160s? or back up to 170 like in week 8?
With 6 teams off this week, probably around 140. A lot will depend on Benjamin, Lacy, and Cutler.
Sitting on 140 right now. Need some help from Randall Cobb (-8) to make me feel more secure.

Have to love last second garbage touchdown for Mychal Rivera. His performance bumps me to 151. Eddie Lacy (-10) and Zach Ertz (-4.9) and Kelvin Benjamin (-4) left.
