This contest is something else it can be so gut wrenching.  It is now my favorite thing about football season.  I pay more attention to this than the scores of my fantasy teams.  Of course I suck at magic football so there is that.

First time this season over 200 points.  Very uneasy about my running back situation at this point.  Anyway...

Feels like a team that is going to be rolling 2 RB most of the year soon :(   Denver's RB juggling is such that I will get a bunch of mediocre scores from Freeman and almost no big games.  Will definitely sweat the week 8 Zeke bye with this bunch.  Tampa is starting to mix the rookie in and Barber has basically been trash.  Conner is on track to lose the job week 8 unless the Steelers trade Bell.  And even if he keeps the job his production has been petering out.  Kelly may not dress all year it seems at this point :(

Just when I had about given up on John Ross he counts this week.  Same can be said about Dorsett.  So maybe - just maybe I can get the whack a mole production out of these guys at the right times.  Chad Williams didn't count but at least showed a little life with a TD.

Burton having a nice game was good to see.  Njoku didn't count but did have a decent game at least and hopefully he can have some good weeks with Mayfield.  Still haven't used any of these guys as flex.  Seals-Jones getting chances still but the Cardinals are just so bad.  Vannett isn't the #1 TE in Seattle so I doubt he counts at all for me.

So glad Fairbairn has panned out and didn't pull a Carlson.  Shocked that Butker hasn't counted yet - just too many TDs for that offense.

TD - Cincinnati Bengals - CIN/9 - $3  7.77% (used 1)

TD - Oakland Raiders - OAK/7 - $2  7.11% (used 1)

And the cheap 4 defense strategy seems to be working as each team has gotten a usage in now :)   Raiders get a 16-point effort out of nowhere.

I think the RB situation is going to hold me back from serious contention.  But maybe Conner snaps out of it and proves me wrong.

Looks like I was off by a couple weeks. Could still sink me as I keep running Bilal Powell out there as an every-week starter for a few more games, or it could work out beautifully. I am one of 2 remaining teams with the J Winston + L Bell combo.

 
I get Ingram and McCaffrey back after surviving the first 4 weeks. No Jimmy G hurts, but Mahomes/Carr may just be able to keep me in it.

James Conner (33.7 point in week 1) - Cleared the cutoff by 11, but would have been eliminated by nearly 16 without him.  Averaging 199 since and still alive.

 
189, and made it, but the injury bug has hit O.J. Howard and Zuerlein, and Jeremy Hill, which totals only seventeen bucks or so (I think), and I have viable backups, but I'm thin at everywhere but WR, which is carrying me. 

 
Fun contest.  Want to see if I can survive until week 12 when elimination is certain.  Mahomes on bye and Jimmy G gone.  Gurley on bye equals efactor good-by...............

 
After posting 194.6, 205.1, 201.4, I barely survive and move on with a 158.85...whew! McCaffrey/Kamara backfield reunited for Week 5 before Kamara bye in Week 6, desperately need DFreeman back on the field by then, to avoid a repeat performance of Week 4...Week 5 always feels like a milestone to me - roughly 50% of the original field eliminated, yet 8 more elimination weeks still to follow...

Still going strong, but just like every previous year it seems I love my WRs and hate my RBs. Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry as my top runners will eventually knock me out.

it was a single play in week 1. I made the cut 160.9 - 147.30 and Stills had this play in the 4th quarter

10:22 1st-and-10 own 25 caught pass for 75 yards TOUCHDOWN

I think you'd have to replace that player with an equal amount of $ spent for the exercise to be most insightful. Like WAR.

 
Example: I was 30 points above the cutline in Week 1 with Michael Thomas' 40 point performance. I'd like to think it unlikely that I would be unable to spend $31 on other WRs that wouldn't have netted me 10 points for one final roster spot.

 
Delanie Walker and Tyler Eifert now out, leaving only Travis Kelce to carry TE points. A very forward-looking hope (barring a dud week of course) is for the majority of entries remaining at Week 12 to be heavily invested in Chiefs and Rams, suppressing the cut line.

I don't think it's too unlikely to make it that far. Kelce should score at or above the average TE used most weeks in the contest. What really hurts is that the rest of my team sucks lolol.

Yeah, but that can't be analyzed now because you'd have the benefit of hindsight.  I think Winz is just looking for a more simplistic view: Did you have an un-used 11 point scorer that week? If so, you wouldn't have been eliminated.

Does this put me in the minority?  I realize some uniqueness could be overrated, but making it to the end and finding some separation would be good.

Of the most owned, outside of my 3 DEF, I share 6 player with only 3 at RB & WR.  And does Lutz even count? 

3 QB = Brees, Ryan & Carr 

5 RB = Henry, Conner, Drake, A Collins & R Freeman

5 WR = Julio J, A Cooper, Godwin, Goodwin, T Smith (my flyer)

3 TE = Burton, Goedert & Hooper 

3 DEF = Chi, Cle, LAR

Hopefully your RB's can pull their weight for you a little better.  Henry has been a dud so far, as has Drake.  It seems the only way Collins will reach 20 pts is by 2 TD's, because his volume has been quite low.  And Lindsay is a thorn for all Freeman owners, myself included.  Kind of funny that you chose 4 fairly expensive RB's, but it's the $4 one that's counted for you all 4 weeks, huh?  If you can hang in there, you will certainly be unique at RB.  You are one of only 2 teams left with the Henry, Drake & Collins trio.  Good luck

I only have 3 of those Hill,Barber,and Lambo.

Starting to really like my team.  Which is surely the kiss of death.

RB    Elliott, McCaffrey, Freeman, Clement   McCaffrey just had his bye week, need Freeman to pick it up; not expecting much from Clement

WR   Diggs,Goodwin,Cole,Allison,Gallup,Amendola,Godwin,Ross, Dorsett   Ugh...really expected to have more success with the volume approach

TE    Burton, Njoku, Howard, Griffin  Glad I went 4 TE, even though Griffin barely adds anything, now with the injury to OJ

K      Fairburn,Parkey, Rosas     No swing/misses so far...all that matters

D      Bears, Steelers        Come on, Steelers!

I definitely don't have the necessary horses to win, unless more WR somehow step up their game. Mahomes/Elliott/McCaffrey can only do so much.

I have

QB- Rivers, Mahomes.  Love getting elite production for such a cheap price

RB - Barkley, D Freeman, Lynch, Barber, Breida.  Barkley has been solid and Lynch has as well.  Survived Freeman's injury.

WR - Hilton, Diggs, Goodwin, R Anderson, Cole, Godwin.  I have some problems here how with Hilton likely out for this week.

TE - Reed, Njoku, J Cook.  I always take 3-4 TEs, and I love this bunch.  Cook has been on fire recently

K - Zuerlein, Sturgis, Fairbairn.  Need Legatron to come back from his groin injury!

D - CHI, DAL.  CHI was an easy choice, and DAL isn't too bad either.
