OF Mayberry 2300 (5th)
An earlier version of my lineup had Dickey at SP, using Mayberry to save a couple grand, seems like a good deal today, I just know Dickey will either pitch 8 strong or get chased after 4 innings and the weather makes me fear for the latter.
Walk-Walk-DP to start...dodging bullets.
Got a nice called strike three 6 inches off the plate to get out of it.
Your basic 30 pitch scoreless inning. Although not sure pitch count matters much for Dickey.

I have this right now - not a fan of many SP2 or C options

P A.J. Burnett P Atl@Phi $5,900
P Justin Verlander P Cle@Det $12,200
C Carlos Santana Cle@Det $4,300
1B E. Encarnacion Tor@Min $4,100
2B Robinson Cano Sea@Tex $4,800
3B Pablo Sandoval LAD@SF $3,600
SS Brad Miller Sea@Tex $3,800
OF Abraham Almonte Sea@Tex $3,300
OF Mitch Moreland Sea@Tex $3,600
OF Alex Rios Sea@Tex $4,400
The Cano HR with Almonte and Miller on base probably clinched me winning in the early 50/50  (sitting 4th of 40

Once again I've made nice pitching choices, but my lineup is kind of pedestrian.

If I get 8 points for Verls and Gibson winning, that would be quite helpful.

For big tournaments only, I've been trying to "stack" my lineup and have several guys from the same team and who are hitting consecutively. On FanDuel, I usually do two stacks of four, or a stack of four, a stack of three, and then just some random catcher. It's kind of a boom-or-bust strategy, but I think it's more fun than trying to grind out 50-50's and beating the juice. I

For this afternoon, I tentatively have stacks on both sides of the MIN/TOR game. Nothing with a total over 7.5 in the PM games, so little to choose from:

P: Gallardo

C: Hanigan

1B: Encarnacion

2B: Dozier

3B: Plouffe

SS: Florimon

OF: Bautista

OF: M. Cabrera

OF: Rasmus

This is what I did this aft with the SEA/TEX game.

In the 6th, I've already got 20 from Moreland, 18 from Cano, 12 from Miller, 11 from Rios and 5 from Almonte. Agree with loading up on Jays vs. Pelfrey tonight, but I'd watch the lineup close, I think Gose will be in CF, Rasmus likely not playing.

You been listening to some fantasy radio on sirius/xm? Lots of stack talk there.

Also like some Jays revenge for this evening...

Harper back in the lineup hitting 2nd against Wainwright after his little quad thing. Might fly under the radar.

I might want to load up against CC...looks like an all righty lineup against him?

Looking at this:

Gallardo

Price

Lucroy

Konerko

Forsythe

Longoria

Segura

McCutchen

K. Davis

W. Myers

Basically loading (STACKING) against Sabathia and Volquez.

I have a similar lineup right now, with some KC players mixed in (I think they'll get to Feldman) and SPRINGER for 2K

P Yovani Gallardo P Mil@Pit $9,400
P David Price P NYY@TB $10,600
C Salvador Perez KC@Hou $3,200
1B Eric Hosmer KC@Hou $3,700
2B Ben Zobrist NYY@TB $4,500
3B Aramis Ramirez Mil@Pit $4,700
SS Jean Segura Mil@Pit $4,200
OF Norichika Aoki KC@Hou $3,800
OF Desmond Jennings NYY@TB $3,700
OF George Springer KC@Hou $2,000

Volquez has tutelage of Grand Sensei Searage now, I think he's kind of got things under control.

Revised lineup, throwing out the Twins with their changes:

P: Gallardo
C: Grandal

1B: Encarnacion

2B: Gyorko

3B: Lawrie

SS: Cabrera

OF: Bautista

OF: Rasmus

OF: Denorfia (lefty killer)

Checked Sportsbook, and Pads and Jays have the two highest team totals of the night.

Interesting that on FanDuel most catchers average negative points, might be a good idea to CatcherPunt sometimes and throw a little extra dough towards yer pitching.

Went with this on fanduel today:

  • P Drew Smyly$6,200LAA@DET✗
  • C Wilin Rosario$3,600PHI@COL✗
  • 1B Justin Morneau$3,100PHI@COL✗
  • 2B Daniel Murphy$2,900ATL@NYM✗
  • 3B David Wright$3,600ATL@NYM✗
  • SS Elvis Andrus$3,700CWS@TEX✗
  • OF Alfonso Soriano$3,300NYY@TAM✗
  • OF Carlos Gonzalez$4,700PHI@COL✗
  • OF Eric Young$3,600ATL@NYM✗

Two entries on FanDuel. I'm def. trading some raw value for more stack-y sequentialness.

#1

Bedard* Smyly

Gattis

Morneau

Uggla

Johnson

Tulowitzki

Gonzalez

J. Upton

Blackmon Stubbs

#2:

Gray

Arincibia

Howard

Utley

I like the Yankees vs. Bedard, the PHI/COL game and Texas vs. Paulino

I have this lineup in so far:

P Matt Cain P SF@SD $9,300
P Sonny Gray P Hou@Oak $10,200

Trying this one, and I'll probably stack that COL/PHI game for fun.

P Nathan Eovaldi P Sea@Mia $9,000 swap out

Different teams have different levels of stackability, I couldn't make a COL/PHI team fit that well. It gets hard when teams hide their catcher and middle infielders at the bottom of the order.

I really like the Mariners, because a) they have a 2B and SS hitting back-to-back in the middle of the order, and b) they are really good against righties and not so good against lefties. Stros might be a decent value-stack against certain teams with Castro-Altuve.

Gah, Smyly killing me. Might still mini-cash it if the Rockies keep pouring it on. You really need all three planets to align with this strat...

I made the mistake of having a hitter I chose going vs. a pitcher I chose - big mixed emotions when Springer gets an RBI single vs. Gray.

I'm 711th out of 4600 on a $2 moonshot, a guy entered the same lineup 3 times and is in 3rd (and 4th and 5th) right now, nice way to turn $6 into $900.

Up to 5th, go Tyson Ross, go!

Edit: make that 3rd! 1st is unattainable, but I'm 2.6 PTs out of 2nd
