What's the view on this kid? He's got good RB size (5-11, 212) and decent speed (4.5), but seems to get into a lot of trouble and has had injury problems (broken tibia in HS and a broken jaw as a sophomore).
After already losing a young, star running back in Washaun Ealey, the Georgia Bulldogs have now lost another top runner in redshirt senior Caleb King, who was declared academically ineligible for the coming season according to Georgia officials.King is the 23rd ranked running back by NFL Mocks, and would be slated to be 24 years old by the time he played his first NFL game had he played out this season. His best option if football is his future might be to declare for the supplemental draft or head to the UFL to get one more year of experience and game tape for NFL scouts to see.The redshirt senior was a powerful, inside the tackles runner who wasn’t great and never really lived up to the potential he had coming out of high school. He was still the best option for the Bulldogs, though, and now his departure will open up opportunities for another player to possibly break out and place himself on to our radars.
