That should show you all the current listings with prices.  You can click Activity Feed to see actual sales.

 
I picked up one of those NFL All Day premiere packs for $249. Got 3 common moments worth $5 each and one rare worth $30. What a ripoff!

I've been buying up a lot of stuff on the All Day marketplace.  Prices are way cheaper than people anticipated.  If you think this has legs like Top Shots than these prices (for the individual moments, not the packs) are a no brainer.

I think they should lower the prices of the packs now that the marketplace has settled in so low, but people love to gamble so the packs have still been selling out even though they have a terrible EV.  You basically need to hit either a Brady or a Legendary to make money on the premium packs right now.

I bought two Brady debuts for around $375/ea on the marketplace just in case this becomes the defacto football card of the future.  There are only 10,200 Brady moments available and now he's retired.  Imagine what a Jordan Topshots would be worth if there were only 12k of him in total.

Trying for just the second time ever to buy an NFT, one from the Animal Spirits podcast that is essentially a charity fundraiser.  I converted some small coin holdings in Coinbase to ETH, moved enough to my Coinbase wallet (all of that took about 20 minutes to figure out).  Went to Opensea and connected the wallet, tried to buy the NFT, and then get the "Gas fees are high right now" message - turns out they would be 10-20% of the amount of the transaction.  So of course I now would have to transfer more ETH to my wallet to cover that amount (I think I transfered about 5% over the NFT cost to my wallet). Same thing happened to me when I first tried to buy an NFT back in September, and just like then I just gave up.

Are gas fees ever not high?  Is 10-20% transaction fee just part of the deal?

That's about right. The fee usually ends up being on the lower side of the estimate, especially if fees are low. Back when things were booming gas fees were normally over $100 and sometimes more. A gas war during mint can cause fees to get over $500. Supposedly eth 2.0 will greatly reduce fees but who knows when it's happening.

 
Bored Ape creators (Yuga Labs) have a drop going on right now for land deeds for their Metaverse game (Otherside).  55,000 available at 305 Ape ($6100) per mint.

Super pricey but everything these guys touch seems to blow up.  Wish this drop were going on during a bull market so I had some profits to take, in which case I'd definitely move them there.  Not sure I want to sell anything at a big loss to raise that much cash though.

I saw somebody paid a $14,000 gas fee to get one last night. :o

 
Just looked back in this thread to see where I started. Apparently made my first purchase Jan 6. I've basically been balls deep since then on Solana NFT's. So 5 months to the day. It's an addiction.

 
I’m pretty much all in on The Walking Dead by Orange Comet. I have two Walker passes (one uncommon and one rare), 3 pieces of land (1 uncommon and 2 common), 5 motorcycles (1 super epic, 1 epic, 1 rare, 2 common). I will be getting 4 tools airdropped and I have some things being transferred from eluvio to OS. 
The only bum out is that I sold 4 pieces of land pre reveal. 1 was epic and 1 was rare. Killing me right now. 
This could be big though. They are making 3D animated NFTs. Best art I’ve seen in the space. It’s all leading to a walking dead metaverse and a p2e game. 
 

I also have a Deathbat and 3 Strokers. It is very hard to not drain my bank account.

You can own a virtual race horse.  Team behind it came from Madden Football and they do all the horse animation for NBC sports for Kentucky Derby

It's a good one, they already created a lot of value on the PFPs and now we are in the beta for racing, it looks really slick.

There is definitely a lot of strategy involved.  The community is super stoked about this, some really smart people in there

I'm furious.

I haven't had any reason to log in and do any buying or selling the last few months, but I logged into my OpenSea account last week to see that all my NFTs were stolen! It wasn't a lot of money and it was only 6 or 7 of them, but I'm still furious.

No idea how it happened. I don't click on spam, I haven't been in discord for months, i haven't done anything with my wallet, etc.....nothing. Only thing I can think of is getting some type of malware on my laptop...but even then, I don't have anything saved on this machine. All my security info related to crypto/NFTs is written down.

Of course, there is nothing anyone can do...that's the nature of blockchain transactions...once it's done it's done. Pretty sour on the whole thing right now.

One of the biggest issues with crypto/NFTs that you don’t here much about. All these brand new companies that don’t have the iron clad security you’d assume there’d be with an almost trillion dollar market cap. I have a good amount invested in the cyber security area for a good reason, even if it’s dropped a ton. That will never go away and it will increase as more and more info goes digital. I’m not negative on some of the tech but do think there’s a ton more room to drop. Imagine if your bank account was as insecure as OpenSea, you’d never keep money in the bank.

Ughh that's awful. Sorry to hear. Was your wallet still connected to any sites? Should be a way to pin down exactly what happened. I assume no Ledger? Just a hot metamask wallet?

Wasn't connected to other sites. My universe of exposure was extremely small and limited, that's why this is so perplexing and troubling.

Getting fired up for Reignmakers football on DraftKings. Anyone else? I picked up 3 rare field passes when they first dropped. They're are doing the snapshots for those first drops on July 11th so time is now to get in if you haven't already. It looks like an interesting way to morph DFS and season long together using NFTs you can buy and sell on the DraftKings platform.

They usually don't wait to clean out their victims so probably the last site, or one of the last sites you connected to before going on hiatus. ####### sucks.and #### those people who do this. I read so many horror stories early on it motivated me to get the Ledger and I just never connect it to anything.

Seriously, sorry to hear about this. I certainly can empathize. It sucks.

As someone who had his bank account drained by evil scumbags. I can say that it only takes a small lapse to have your bank account compromised. The real difference here is you're typically covered by insurance at the bank. I was made whole but it took me about 2 months to recover.

That would suck and you made a good point about insurance kind of like credit cards not being liable. Those companies have loss prevention and security in place to stop it even though it’s not perfect. Some of these crypto projects have just complete holes like the huge losses because they haven’t gotten anywhere near maturity. When people have real money involved that’s a problem because we’ve just started seeing criminal activity start.

I got a free core pack in my DK account today. How does this work?

I opened it and it was mostly scrubs (Mac Jones, Braxton Berrios, etc). Can I enter contests with it? Do I have to go buy other NFT cards to make a lineup?

DK does a very poor job of explaining the steps.

You can enter contests with what you have but you won't win. You have to buy packs when they drop or buy players on the secondary market. They just unleashed the interface today and it's pretty great. All the rules are pretty intricate but once you get it you get it. Try to join the discord if you can and read all the "roadmap visuals". It's the first year and they are making changes as they go but this will be big going forward. It already is. Just think of it as a merging of dfs and season long.

Been addicted to this DraftKings Reignmakers stuff. Think I'm up to 260 players in my portfolio. Selling about 10-15 a day and then just buying more packs. Have some sweet rare cards. Going to have about 50 freeroll lineups a week.

I definitely have a problem. I can see myself getting out of control with this.
My biggest issue right now is I can't sell on Marketplace. I lost my DL, and I am waiting on the replacement to come in the mail(up to 30 days). I did an alternate method of ID, but it said I am now able to wager in the sportsbook, in a State that isn't eligible for it, yet. I was able to buy from marketplace at that point, but I still can't sell.
Really wanting to unload an Aaron Rodgers Elite so I can buy more packs.
Frustrating.
Question... do the individual cards sell pretty fast, or does it take days? I am talking about the premium players. I am assuming the crap cards take a while.

Not to be the debbie downer. I totally think NFTs are the biggest scam, pump and dump ever.

If you get picked in a lottery and can buy one for X$$$ thats one thing.

But to think you can buy and hold, is BS.

I think you can take your NFT, copy it to an AOL CD and hang it on your wall. Thats as good as it get for 99%
