Question (nothing against Mike Evans, but he's a good example for my point): If you could spend $2 more than you are on Evans and get a guy who Dodds projects as scoring 4 points per week more, would you do it?
Curious if there's a follow up here.  Seems like not nearly enough info to answer a question like that, e.g.:

a) what position?

b) what team / bye week?

c) where are you pulling the extra $2 from?

d) how does floor / ceiling compare?

etc.

Pretty sure he's talking about Antonio Brown, and I assume that the op, like me, wants no shares of that situation.

QB - Kyler Murray - ARI/12 - $16
QB - Dak Prescott - DAL/8 - $12
RB - Devonta Freeman - ATL/9 - $23
RB - Mark Ingram - BAL/8 - $20
RB - Chris Carson - SEA/11 - $18
RB - Duke Johnson - HOU/10 - $9
WR - Julian Edelman - NE/10 - $23
WR - Calvin Ridley - ATL/9 - $20
WR - Cooper Kupp - LAR/9 - $20
WR - Tyler Lockett - SEA/11 - $19
WR - Curtis Samuel - CAR/7 - $12
TE - Travis Kelce - KC/12 - $29
TE - Jack Doyle - IND/6 - $10
PK - Matt Prater - DET/5 - $4
PK - Brandon McManus - DEN/10 - $4
PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3
TD - Green Bay Packers - GB/11 - $5
TD - San Francisco 49ers - SF/4 - $3

Really want to go small roster with the pricing as it is.  Don't like going only two QBs though.  Also dont like my late WR byes.  Do like the upside of Murray, Freeman, and Kelce.  Feel like their ceilings can carry a team in the final weeks.

Pretty sure he's talking about Antonio Brown, and I assume that the op, like me, wants no shares of that situation.
Nope. Just pointing out (in a roundabout manner), that it might be wiser to invest in Kelce and a cheap WR than Evans and a cheap TE.

I really like this team.

There are some concerns of course, especially with durability at rb, but you've got excellent value. I like your te combo but I think you chose the 2 tes with the most significant injury histories at the position. try to see if you can add Reed. lol. In all seriousness if this roster can stay healthy I think you're going to go far

Might want to pay attention to that Week 10 bye issue...

My thoughts... QB & RB = SOLID....  WR - Top 2 are good, but marginal depth and flex play at best, but 1 injury away from serious concern.

Alfred Blue sighting! Can’t say I understand it but he will be very low on ownership so could pay big if he hits. Otherwise I like the RB’s. Cobb and Sanders eh. I love Sanders and think he is undervalued but there is one thing holding him back - Flacco. That’s a little different look at TE - I like the disparity.

For the most part I like it but def feel as though you’re missing some prime candidates. But that is of course just my opinion and nothing more! Good luck!

Welp, with the Duke Johnson trade my team has of course changed.

QB - Kyler Murray - ARI/12 - $16
QB - Jared Goff - LAR/9 - $14
RB - Devonta Freeman - ATL/9 - $23
RB - Kerryon Johnson - DET/5 - $23
RB - Chris Carson - SEA/11 - $18
RB - Duke Johnson - HOU/10 - $9
WR - Robert Woods - LAR/9 - $22
WR - Dede Westbrook - JAX/10 - $13
WR - Curtis Samuel - CAR/7 - $12
WR - Anthony Miller - CHI/6 - $12
WR - Marquez Valdes-Scantling - GB/11 - $11
WR - Michael Gallup - DAL/8 - $10
WR - David Moore - SEA/11 - $6
WR - Terry McLaurin - WAS/10 - $4
TE - Travis Kelce - KC/12 - $29
TE - Darren Waller - OAK/6 - $8
PK - Aldrick Rosas - NYG/11 - $4
PK - Matt Prater - DET/5 - $4
TD - Buffalo Bills - BUF/6 - $6
TD - Cincinnati Bengals - CIN/9 - $3
TD - New York Jets - NYJ/4 - $3

I’m actually having the hardest time with QB’s. Which at the end of the day prob will make very little difference. I like Ryan and all his dome games. I think Newton gets back to his QB4 or better self if he is healthy. Love the floor of Murray with the amount of plays and rushing yards. Goff, Winston, Trubisky, Prescott, Jackson and Cousins have all been in there at one time or another, lol. I’m pretty sold on Cam in my main draft but the numbers don’t work in this recent iteration. I’m sure it will change tomorrow.

Here is my attempt at a mid sized roster (24)....

QB - Patrick Mahomes - KC/12 - $27
QB - Jameis Winston - TB/7 - $13

If you are only going to roll with two, might as well take the big dog up top.  Have also played with taking a couple other QBs in the $9 to $12 range instead of Mahomes.  They don't have his upside alone, but together they could post similar numbers especially in a best ball format like this.  It will save $5-7 if I make that change.

RB - Mark Ingram - BAL/8 - $20
RB - David Montgomery - CHI/6 - $18
RB - Chris Carson - SEA/11 - $18
RB - Kalen Ballage - MIA/5 - $12
RB - Alexander Mattison - MIN/12 - $6
RB - Darwin Thompson - KC/12 - $5

Ingram isn't a sexy pick, but I think he will be solid.  Montgomery hype train is rolling strong and he is backing it up with his play.  Carson is the starter in Seattle and I don't see that changing.  Penny will get more touches this year, but it won't be at Carson's expense.  I like what I see developing in Mia for Ballage, if they can move the ball.  Mattison and Thompson are dart throws from good offenses....one injury away from being a beast.

WR - Mike Williams - LAC/12 - $16
WR - Tyrell Williams - OAK/6 - $13
WR - Curtis Samuel - CAR/7 - $12
WR - Marquez Valdes-Scantling - GB/11 - $11
WR - Michael Gallup - DAL/8 - $10
WR - Zay Jones - BUF/6 - $8
WR - Mecole Hardman - KC/12 - $5

No stars here, but many guys with value.  If I'm going to upgrade it will be at the WR position.  I could use the $5 saved if I downgrade from Mahomes + $5 not spent yet + current WR selection and move up to get a guy in the mid twenty's.

TE - Hunter Henry - LAC/12 - $17
TE - Chris Herndon - NYJ/4 - $8
TE - Darren Waller - OAK/6 - $8

I'm really liking this combo of TEs.

PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3
PK - Daniel Carlson - OAK/6 - $3
PK - Zane Gonzalez - ARI/12 - $3
TD - San Francisco 49ers - SF/4 - $3
TD - New York Jets - NYJ/4 - $3
TD - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TB/7 - $3

Three $3 kickers and defenses.  I have put zero effort here so far.  This could easily change by spreading the money out between 2 kickers and 2 defenses.

Here is my attempt at a mid sized roster (24)....

QB - Patrick Mahomes - KC/12 - $27
QB - Jameis Winston - TB/7 - $13

I’ll be honest hard to argue against Mahomes. I personally have not considered him but if you can make it work - eh why not?

Man I am so torn on Ingram. On one side I can see him being a dominant 250+ carry guy on a run first team. But on the other side I see him as eventually replaced by Justice and having vultured TD’s by Lamar. I don’t want to risk it. Montgomery is another wild card and I think I would pass on him at $18 when you can get Carson for $18. I’m obviously all in on Carson. Unfortunately I think he may be becoming too popular and worth a change. Ballage too much of a wildcard. Is he gonna play third down? Every other series? Mattison and Thompson are obviously dart throws. League winners with an injury. But I would trade them both in for Duke Johnson.

The Williams’s! Mike should be solid - but you’re #1? He should be less TD reliant this year but I would want someone more consistent here. I would swap him for Jones or if you can spare some cash move up to Woods. I LOVE Woods at $22. He is a lock. Samuel, MVS and Gallup - 😍. Zay Jones is a nice sly pick. Produced nicely last year and not many will roster him but it’s still Buffalo and not sure how much Brown will affect his output. I would prob go Brown instead. Hardman is eh. Don’t know enough about him to comment but would love to see him and Watkins continue to #### the bed.

TE - Hunter Henry - LAC/12 - $17
TE - Chris Herndon - NYJ/4 - $8
TE - Darren Waller - OAK/6 - $8

Herndon is 🤮. Henry has a huge margin this year. He could be ok or really good. I like the pick. But since I did it myself, I would go Kelce/Waller.

I'm really liking this combo of TEs.

PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3
PK - Daniel Carlson - OAK/6 - $3
PK - Zane Gonzalez - ARI/12 - $3
TD - San Francisco 49ers - SF/4 - $3

Good luck pal! Comments in bold.

I haven't messed with this in a week or so, and I have some different opinions on some players today.  And it will no doubt change again.  But I like reading analysis with my cut-and-paste, so I'll do the same.

QB - Baker Mayfield - CLE/7 - $19
QB - Kirk Cousins - MIN/12 - $12

A lot of places have Mayfield as a top 5 QB.  He's #7 on this list, so there's some value.  And I figure that the guy throwing to Diggs and Thielen has to put up some points, right?

RB - Saquon Barkley - NYG/11 - $36
RB - David Johnson - ARI/12 - $30
RB - Latavius Murray - NO/9 - $16
RB - Kalen Ballage - MIA/5 - $12
RB - Chase Edmonds - ARI/12 - $6

Two studs in Saquon and DJ.  Murray steps into the Ingram role and is a high end RB2.  Ballage has potential written all over him. Edmonds is insurance for DJ.

WR - Chris Godwin - TB/7 - $22
WR - Tyler Lockett - SEA/11 - $19
WR - Michael Gallup - DAL/8 - $10
WR - Mohamed Sanu - ATL/9 - $10
WR - D.J. Chark - JAX/10 - $5

These are merely the mid-priced guys I like best with the highest ceiling (IMO).  Godwin specializes in short- and medium- range stuff, and Jameis has been told to quit looking downfield all the time.  A lot of targets left with Doug Baldwin, and Lockett should be the main beneficiary.  Gallup is my sleeper WR of the year, and his volatility works for this contest.  Sanu has a high floor, which should get me some points when Gallup doesn't.

TE - George Kittle - SF/4 - $25
TE - T.J. Hockenson - DET/5 - $10

I hate carrying two TEs, and I think Hockenson is a bit overpriced.  But with only two, I wanted to get two whose bye weeks would be over and done early before the Turk starts to get serious.

PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3
PK - Daniel Carlson - OAK/6 - $3
PK - Zane Gonzalez - ARI/12 - $3

Joseph and Gonzo are in much improved offenses, and I like Carlson because I'm an Auburn fan.  (Sometimes the reasoning isn't necessarily logic-based)

TD - San Francisco 49ers - SF/4 - $3
TD - Cincinnati Bengals - CIN/9 - $3
TD - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TB/7 - $3

Three cheap defenses to save me money elsewhere.  These were all taken with fingers crossed...

I am torn on 2 or 3 QB's...  Taking 2 risks an injury / bye week dismissal, while 3 could be a waste of funds....    Bench points never win anything!

I decided against a 5/6 WR and went 3 QB & 3 TE.  Very happy with Top 3 RB & all 4 WR.

QB - Matt Ryan - ATL/9 - $20
QB - Baker Mayfield - CLE/7 - $19
QB - Kirk Cousins - MIN/12 - $12
RB - Nick Chubb - CLE/7 - $25
RB - Mark Ingram - BAL/8 - $20
RB - Chris Carson - SEA/11 - $18
RB - Ty Montgomery - NYJ/4 - $5
WR - Calvin Ridley - ATL/9 - $20
WR - Tyler Lockett - SEA/11 - $19
WR - Mike Williams - LAC/12 - $16
WR - Tyrell Williams - OAK/6 - $13
TE - Jared Cook - NO/9 - $17
TE - Vance McDonald - PIT/7 - $16
TE - T.J. Hockenson - DET/5 - $10
PK - Jake Elliott - PHI/10 - $6
PK - Chris Boswell - PIT/7 - $4
TD - Dallas Cowboys - DAL/8 - $5
TD - Seattle Seahawks - SEA/11 - $5

Wow, that's alot of firepower at QB.  A minimum of $31 guaranteed to be sitting on your bench each week.  I will likely spend that much for whatever combo I end up with, whether it's 2 or 3 I don't know yet.

I read the 2018 thread you bumped and have come away with yours and apalmers tips on team construction. I'm looking at twenty bucks or so for QB this time, and three tight ends.

$20 this year may be a bit too little, considering the dollar amounts.  If you tried to spend that little on 3 QB's, you would end up with something like Darnold, Flacco, and Rosen or Foles, Mariota, and Jones.  My current targets at QB are Winston & Cousins, and would consider adding Jones, bringing me to $29.  Of course, we have all been flip flopping since the prices came out, but I have pretty much stuck with Winston on almost every iteration.  I really need to start looking at weekly matchups for him, to see who he blends well with.  As for TE's, I agree that 3 is a good way to go, but I am finding it hard to decide how to divvy up the bucks.

Good luck

Thanks, man. Thanks for your input. Winston is in almost every iteration of mine. Right now, it's Winston, Darnold, Jones, which is actually $26. I'll post here when Week 3 is done and we've sussed out more stuff. I'd appreciate any input anybody can give.

With this year's pricing, as much as I hate it, I'm seriously looking at only 2 QBs to free up a few bucks for other positions. I'm trying to decide if having a cheap guy for an insurance policy when he is likely to count only if neither of my other two play is worth more than an extra WR.

I'm looking at three options right now, subject to whim:

1) Darnold, Jones, Rosen for $17 spend nine saved on a receiver

2) Winston, Darnold, Jones for $26

3) Winston, Darnold, spend Jones's on an upgrade at RB

This is what I have right now:

QB - Jameis Winston - 13
QB - Sam Darnold - 9
RB - Saquon Barkley - 36
RB - Nick Chubb - 25
RB - Kerryon Johnson - 23
RB - Kareem Hunt - 12
RB - Ty Montgomery - 5
WR - Mike Evans - 27
WR - Stefon Diggs - 23
WR - Marquez Valdes-Scantling - 11
WR - Donte Moncrief - 10
WR - Danny Amendola - 5
TE - Hunter Henry - 17
TE - Chris Herndon - 8
TE - Darren Waller - 8
PK - Cairo Santos - 4
PK - Zane Gonzalez - 3
TD - Detroit Lions - 4
TD - Carolina Panthers - 4

Edmonds is insurance for DJ.  I love the top 3.  Ballage has a chance to turn the RBBC in his favor.  Wondering why you cuffed DJ though?  He is not a real injury risk.

I hate carrying two TEs, and I think Hockenson is a bit overpriced.  But with only two, I wanted to get two whose bye weeks would be over and done early before the Turk starts to get serious.  Your top stud already has the early bye, so you may as well compliment him with a guy you like better for his value.  I say this because if Kittle does go down after week 4, you will be screwed anyways, right?

Joseph and Gonzo are in much improved offenses, and I like Carlson because I'm an Auburn fan.  (Sometimes the reasoning isn't necessarily logic-based)  I have also been going with Joseph and Gonzalez.  Their prices don't reflect the offenses they are on, but their risk of losing the job.  Monitor closely

Three cheap defenses to save me money elsewhere.  These were all taken with fingers crossed...  I am surely going with 3 cheapos too

The Brown Johnsons

The Brown Johnsons are made up of any player named Brown or Johnson or any member of the Cleveland Browns.  Thanks to Cleveland's offense actually being good now, this year's team is the best team in years, perhaps ever.  I expect them to go long and deep, up to Week 7. With Cleveland getting the shaft by being given a relatively early bye on Week 7, their chances go limp earlier than they should.  But maybe that skepticism is premature.  This team also gets bonus points for having a player named Chubb.

QB - Baker Mayfield - CLE/7 - $19
RB - David Johnson - ARI/12 - $30
RB - Nick Chubb - CLE/7 - $25
RB - Kerryon Johnson - DET/5 - $23
RB - Kareem Hunt - CLE/7 - $12
RB - Duke Johnson - HOU/10 - $9
RB - Malcolm Brown - LAR/9 - $4
WR - Odell Beckham - CLE/7 - $31
WR - Antonio Brown - OAK/6 - $29
WR - Marquise Brown - BAL/8 - $10
WR - John Brown - BUF/6 - $9
WR - A.J. Brown - TEN/11 - $7
WR - Antonio Callaway - CLE/7 - $6
WR - Jaron Brown - SEA/11 - $4
WR - Equanimeous St. Brown - GB/11 - $4
TE - David Njoku - CLE/7 - $15
PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3
PK - Austin Seibert - CLE/7 - $3
TD - Cleveland Browns - CLE/7 - $6

Wow, that's alot of firepower at QB.  A minimum of $31 guaranteed to be sitting on your bench each week.  I will likely spend that much for whatever combo I end up with, whether it's 2 or 3 I don't know yet.
Yeah, it has me reconsidering Matt Ryan after the NYJ DL made the ATL OL look like Swiss Cheese....  3 Sacks in 1Qtr on Ryan, and like 5 or 6 in game....  ATL OL is a WIP but might be in need to avoid Ryan and look at NYJ Def!

Making a move to something like  Baker Mayfield - CLE/7 - $19     Kirk Cousins - MIN/12 - $12      Sam Darnold - NYJ/4 - $9   -->  $40 total (16% of budget)

QB - Jared Goff - LAR/9 - $14
QB - Lamar Jackson - BAL/8 - $12
QB - Derek Carr - OAK/6 - $9

Bestball QBBC approach...each QB can have isolated big games.

RB - Nick Chubb - CLE/7 - $25
RB - Devonta Freeman - ATL/9 - $23
RB - Chris Carson - SEA/11 - $18
RB - Miles Sanders - PHI/10 - $15
RB - Duke Johnson - HOU/10 - $9

Freeman risk is injury and o line.  I think Sanders beats out Howard.  Duke is a better pass catcher and could beat out Miller with O'Brien on a short leash.

WR - Mike Evans - TB/7 - $27
WR - Mike Williams - LAC/12 - $16
WR - Emmanuel Sanders - DEN/10 - $13
WR - Marquez Valdes-Scantling - GB/11 - $11
WR - Zay Jones - BUF/6 - $8

People are afraid of Sanders but I'm not.  MVS might be behind Allison but they're WR2A and WR2B.  Zay Jones is on a bad team but he's WR1 for a scrambling QB with a cannon.

TE - Vance McDonald - PIT/7 - $16
TE - Gerald Everett - LAR/9 - $7
TE - Will Dissly - SEA/11 - $7

This will likely change and lock day approaches, but looks nice to my eye.

PK - Jason Myers - SEA/11 - $5
PK - Zane Gonzalez - ARI/12 - $3

TD - New England Patriots - NE/10 - $6
TD - Kansas City Chiefs - KC/12 - $5

Total value: 249

I am torn on 2 or 3 QB's...  Taking 2 risks an injury / bye week dismissal, while 3 could be a waste of funds....    Bench points never win anything!

I decided against a 5/6 WR and went 3 QB & 3 TE.  Very happy with Top 3 RB & all 4 WR.

QB - Matt Ryan - ATL/9 - $20
QB - Baker Mayfield - CLE/7 - $19
QB - Kirk Cousins - MIN/12 - $12
RB - Nick Chubb - CLE/7 - $25
RB - Mark Ingram - BAL/8 - $20
RB - Chris Carson - SEA/11 - $18
RB - Ty Montgomery - NYJ/4 - $5
WR - Calvin Ridley - ATL/9 - $20
WR - Tyler Lockett - SEA/11 - $19
WR - Mike Williams - LAC/12 - $16
WR - Tyrell Williams - OAK/6 - $13
TE - Jared Cook - NO/9 - $17
TE - Vance McDonald - PIT/7 - $16
TE - T.J. Hockenson - DET/5 - $10
PK - Jake Elliott - PHI/10 - $6
PK - Chris Boswell - PIT/7 - $4
TD - Dallas Cowboys - DAL/8 - $5
TD - Seattle Seahawks - SEA/11 - $5
The WRs would scare me. I could see multiple duds in any given week, potentially putting you behind the eight ball. If you’re going to only go with 4, I think you need someone with a high floor like Woods or Edelman so you only need one other to hit.

My first attempt at a large roster this year..

QB - Jameis Winston - TB/7 - $13
QB - Kirk Cousins - MIN/12 - $12

Winston is a lock for me, and Cousins has a nice schedule on Winston's bye/tough games.  Both have top 10 potential, so I will forego a 3rd QB.

RB - Saquon Barkley - NYG/11 - $36
RB - David Johnson - ARI/12 - $30
RB - Joe Mixon - CIN/9 - $28
RB - Duke Johnson - HOU/10 - $9

No need to go deep when you go studly.  But when you go light, you need to have faith they stay healthy.  I like alot of RB's in the $16-24 range, but most seem to be injury risks.  I would expect 2 startable scores and a flex from my top 3 many weeks.  Duke could be nice value in this contest, even sharing with Miller.

WR - Ted Ginn - NO/9 - $6
WR - David Moore - SEA/11 - $6
WR - Quincy Enunwa - NYJ/4 - $6
WR - John Ross - CIN/9 - $5
WR - Danny Amendola - DET/5 - $5
WR - Breshad Perriman - TB/7 - $5
WR - Taylor Gabriel - CHI/6 - $5
WR - D.J. Chark - JAX/10 - $5
WR - Travis Benjamin - LAC/12 - $4
WR - Chris Conley - JAX/10 - $4
WR - Demarcus Robinson - KC/12 - $4

Must have a minimum of 2 scores here.  I chose these 11 based on a) already being a starter IMO, b) being a WR3 on a high powered offense, or c) behind injury risk WR's.  With the reinstatement of Josh Gordon, he would fit nicely on this squad.

TE - Travis Kelce - KC/12 - $29
TE - Darren Waller - OAK/6 - $8
TE - Ian Thomas - CAR/7 - $6

Must have a weekly TE score, and Kelce covers that.  Waller is a dart throw, and Thomas will be big value if Olsen goes down, and let's face it, that's a high probability.

PK - Randy Bullock - CIN/9 - $3
PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3
PK - Steve Hauschka - BUF/6 - $3
PK - Zane Gonzalez - ARI/12 - $3

Research says quantity over quality at the K position is the way to go.  You just need multiple options here.

TD - San Francisco 49ers - SF/4 - $3
TD - Cincinnati Bengals - CIN/9 - $3
TD - New York Jets - NYJ/4 - $3
TD - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TB/7 - $3

Same as above.

Basically you can turn two $20 guys into Gordon and and $30+ guy
Oh yeah. Sure. That's intuitive, too, I guess. Or at least that would have been a mental calculation I think I would have made. I had Gordon on iterations of my team even with suspension, never mind a shot at sixteen.

The interesting question is what is Gordon fair value today...probably $18 plus or minus $10 :D

Joking aside, if he doesnt catch another pass and stays clean I'll be happy for him.  He's had a long life.

No, he’s had it easy. I know addicts busting it 50 hours a week in construction coming home sore and tired getting paid a 1/1000th of Gordon’s hourly wage land finding time to go to meetings to try and stay clean

I'm probably adding him, but I don't think I'd be comfortable "swapping" him in. If  want at least 6 WRs and I change my current 6 to include Gordon, there's too good a chance I'll only have 5 by the time the serious cuts start. The only way I'm comfortable adding him is to the do the opposite--turn a $20 guy into Gordon and a $14 guy so I have 7 to start and 6 whenever Gordon washes out.

I'm just not sure I'd be comfortable with Cousins, DJ, and Kelce (plus Benjamin, Robinson and Gonzalez) all on a byes the week of a 50% cut.

Mark VIII

QB - Jared Goff - LAR/9 - $14
QB - Kirk Cousins - MIN/12 - $12
QB - Daniel Jones - NYG/11 - $4

I think Cousins represents a great safety net. I'm not concerned at all about Jones not seeing the field for a while. I think hes the best QB on that roster by a lot.

RB - Saquon Barkley - NYG/11 - $36
RB - Joe Mixon - CIN/9 - $28
RB - Lamar Miller - HOU/10 - $17
RB - Jaylen Samuels - PIT/7 - $11

Trying this one out. Going with 4, but I think Barkley represents a yuge advantage. Miller is very safe.

WR - Stefon Diggs - MIN/12 - $23
WR - Chris Godwin - TB/7 - $22
WR - Corey Davis - TEN/11 - $15
WR - Curtis Samuel - CAR/7 - $12
WR - D.J. Chark - JAX/10 - $5

Not sure I want Samuel over Sutton. I may try to find $2 /to upgrade as Sutton is the wr1 and probably #1 option, Samuel is the #3 or 4 option

TE - Evan Engram - NYG/11 - $18
TE - Mark Andrews - BAL/8 - $9
TE - Will Dissly - SEA/11 - $7

Engram is a stud, and Andrews/Dissly are undervalued by a lot

PK - Brandon McManus - DEN/10 - $4
PK - Greg Joseph - CLE/7 - $3

Kickers with a pulse

TD - Detroit Lions - DET/5 - $4
TD - Cincinnati Bengals - CIN/9 - $3
TD - New York Jets - NYJ/4 - $3

Defenses with a pulse

Not much difference than my first Meh collaboration. I didnt go flashy or studs/duds because every year I do that and I get bounced around week 6ish. So this year I'm trying a slow and steady approach to hopefully get further.

I upgraded from Brady to Brees while dropping a 3rd QB and changed around some of my bottom WRs. Looking at slot possible high volume guys.

QB - Drew Brees - NO/9 - $16
QB - Lamar Jackson - BAL/8 - $12

Lamar has the ability to have the odd high point game with rushing and Brees is generally pretty consistent.

RB - Kerryon Johnson - DET/5 - $23
RB - Josh Jacobs - OAK/6 - $20
RB - Austin Ekeler - LAC/12 - $16
RB - Jordan Howard - PHI/10 - $14
RB - Jaylen Samuels - PIT/7 - $11
RB - Duke Johnson - HOU/10 - $9

As much as I am not a fan of Bevell he makes RBs into studs. Jacobs should see volume. Everyone knows Ekeler has potential both with and without Gordon. Samuels and Johnson will get points and 3rd down work.

WR - T.Y. Hilton - IND/6 - $25
WR - Julian Edelman - NE/10 - $23
WR - Larry Fitzgerald - ARI/12 - $12
WR - Trey Quinn - WAS/10 - $6
WR - Cole Beasley - BUF/6 - $6
WR - Danny Amendola - DET/5 - $5

Not gonna lie Lucks injury makes me wonder about Hilton so may have to rethink that later before contest lock. The rest should see volume.

TE - Evan Engram - NYG/11 - $18
TE - Mark Andrews - BAL/8 - $9
TE - Darren Waller - OAK/6 - $8

I wish Engram was cheaper but given the lack of options in NY he may see Kittle type production this year. Andrews is a sneaky high volume potential and Waller is a dart throw based on the preseason talk.

PK - Adam Vinatieri - IND/6 - $5
PK - Brandon McManus - DEN/10 - $4

Vinateri is consistent, just monitoring his injury. McManus should get lots of FG opportunities.

TD - Green Bay Packers - GB/11 - $5
TD - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TB/7 - $3

No real thought to these just like some of the matchup they will have.

Total value: 250

Very late to this this year - hopefully not a bad sign.

Got a token 25-player entry in just in case.  Will have to edit later :)

Thanx for the analysis.  To me, the only conflict is DJ and Kelce, which is very painful for week 12, but I really want both.  Winston should have a field day vs ATL, I would still have 9 WR's to choose from, and 3 kickers.

I tried making a roster where I reversed RB & WR - going cheap and deep at RB and studly and light at WR.  It turned out like horse manure, but I am gonna take another crack at it.
