I would bench Johnson with Stanton the expected QB. He targeted CJ 13 times last week, only connecting once. Yuck. I would go with Colston and either Moss or Williams. If Grossman worries you, then go with MW

Playing at Atlanta, MNF, Brees loves him and the Falcons secondary isn't a scary option.

I know he is basically High Risk/High Reward....But my opponent is starting BREES.

Both Graham and Hernandez are on the WW. As you pointed out above, Graham is sharing with Shockey, so that’s a tough one. And for Hernandez, the "Week 16 Upgrades, Downgrades, and Waiver Wire Wonders" says "With Buffalo up next, expect more of the zone coverage to favor his running mate Rob Gronkowski". Whew!

My sense is that I'm an underdog in our championship this week. Any suggestions at TE? (NON-PPR)

I agree on Gronkowski this week. He is a decent play. But, Pettigrew is a good starter only if Shaun Hill or Stafford is back under center and not Drew Stanton. Some QBs just do not look to the TE much.

I think I would sit Bowe and play VJax only if Floyd is out again.

0.5 ppr, 1/10 rush, 1/15 rec, 1/30 pass, 0.5 per comp, -0.25 per inc, -3 Int, -2 fumbles, and 6 points all TDs.

Title game, and here's my problem positions:

QB: no idea

WR: Roddy White

WR: Andre Johnson

RB: Ahmad Bradshaw

RB: LeGarrette Blount

W/R: Tampa Mike Williams

TE: Jacob Tamme

K: Josh Brown

DEF: no idea

Flex position - Santana Moss got a lot of targets last week, but so did Tampa Mike and Roddy and AJ. I could flex Moss and keep in Andre, or play TB Mike, Moss, and Roddy. It would take some serious balls to do that, going with matchups over Andre Johnson. Really just need to decide to flex Moss or Williams. Both have good matchups, but Washington doesn't have a lot to play for, and bad Rex could show up. Finally, I could flex Joe Webb. If he keeps turnovers relatively low, he would be an amazing flex - last week he scored 12ish - Tampa Mike scored 15.5ish, by comparison.

Also, I have Toby Gerhart if ADP doesn't play, and I will probably have the option to grab Derrick Ward. Obviously, if Foster is a no-go, I will play Ward over someone. Question is, over Bradshaw, over Blount, or as the flex? And do I play Gerhart too?

What are your thoughts?

QB rostered: Kerry Collins, Joe Webb

Waiver wire? Grossman gets Jax, Tebow gets Houston, Henne gets Detroit - IMO, all good matchups with warts.

Grossman is turnover prone, INT are -3. Tebow is making his 2nd start, game plan may be conservative. Henne is also TO prone, and Miami sucks at home. Colt McCoy gets the Ravens, who have been generous via the air, but he has nobody to throw too outside of Watson.

Thinking Tebow here...what are your thoughts? Please don't just give me a name, I need a thought process.

Waiver Wire? Jacksonville, Indy, Denver, Buffalo, Cincy, Tampa Bay

Currently, I'm probably going to pick up Jacksonville. Even if Washington puts up 30 again, Dallas scored extremely well last week with the sacks and turnovers. Same question as QB, whatcha think?

Hi Jeff – thanks for the thoughts on TE. A second opinion on my RBs and WRs?

RBs and WRs, NON-PPR, TDs = 6 pts, 10 yards rushing/receiving =1 pt, start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR flex. QBs get 4 for a passing TD, 1 for 25 yards passing, and -1 for INTs and lost fumbles.

My RBs are Rice, Bradshaw, Blount

My WRs are Calvin, Britt, Marshall, Fitzgerald, and remarkably, Joe Webb, who is listed as QB/WR.

The guy I’m playing against has Danny Woodhead who is listed as RB/WR, and he’s used that dual role to his advantage this year. So if plugging in Webb as a WR was reasonable, it seems a bit odd, but I’d consider that.

Which five do you like (can play 3 RB and 2 WR, or 2 RB and 3 WR)?

I’m kind of thinking about Rice and Blount, and Fitzgerald and Britt, and then Webb as my flex. Is that crazy?

But it’s tough to sit Calvin, even with Stanton as his QB.

As far as I can tell, this is a really strange one…would love your thoughts.

Tampa Mike W vs Seat

After the last month, Austin is dead to me even though he has a good matchup. I like Tampa Mike, but I can't see him cracking this lineup. If I roll with all three of my RBs, do I sit Bowe or VJax? Do I play Bowe and VJax and sit either Blount or Bradshaw?

Appreciate the help. This is the last week of our regular season, you've helped me get to the playoffs and now I'm playing for positioning. Appreciate your help this last week...

I just picked up Vincent Jackson(!) and am wondering if I should start him over D.Jackson or Wallace. I'm a little leery of Wallace tonight since I could see Pitt opting to run the ball all over Carolina; on the other hand, I'm similarly worried about D.Jackson.

Also, my RB situation is much murkier with reports that ADP may sit again. Also, Choice worked out well for me last week, but now Barber may be back.

Which two do you like if Peterson is out again?

Title game, and here's my problem positions:

QB: no idea

WR: Roddy White

WR: Andre Johnson

RB: Ahmad Bradshaw

RB: LeGarrette Blount

W/R: Tampa Mike Williams

TE: Jacob Tamme

K: Josh Brown

DEF: no idea

Flex position - Santana Moss got a lot of targets last week, but so did Tampa Mike and Roddy and AJ. I could flex Moss and keep in Andre, or play TB Mike, Moss, and Roddy. It would take some serious balls to do that, going with matchups over Andre Johnson. Really just need to decide to flex Moss or Williams. Both have good matchups, but Washington doesn't have a lot to play for, and bad Rex could show up. Finally, I could flex Joe Webb. If he keeps turnovers relatively low, he would be an amazing flex - last week he scored 12ish - Tampa Mike scored 15.5ish, by comparison. I like MIke - Santana has success vs Dallas.

Also, I have Toby Gerhart if ADP doesn't play, and I will probably have the option to grab Derrick Ward. Obviously, if Foster is a no-go, I will play Ward over someone. Question is, over Bradshaw, over Blount, or as the flex? And do I play Gerhart too? - If ADP sits (which is doubtful), then play over Blount

What are your thoughts?

QB rostered: Kerry Collins, Joe Webb

Waiver wire? Grossman gets Jax, Tebow gets Houston, Henne gets Detroit - IMO, all good matchups with warts.

Grossman is turnover prone, INT are -3. Tebow is making his 2nd start, game plan may be conservative. Henne is also TO prone, and Miami sucks at home. Colt McCoy gets the Ravens, who have been generous via the air, but he has nobody to throw too outside of Watson.

Thinking Tebow here...what are your thoughts? Please don't just give me a name, I need a thought process.

I think I would go with Grossman since Jax DBs stink. Have to hope for a shootout. Tebow gets a bad HOU secondary, but I only like him if you want a safe 10-13 points. Grossman has higher upside ... and downdise. But, you need a big outing to compete.

I like TB defense of those.

Hi Jeff – thanks for the thoughts on TE. A second opinion on my RBs and WRs?

RBs and WRs, NON-PPR, TDs = 6 pts, 10 yards rushing/receiving =1 pt, start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR flex. QBs get 4 for a passing TD, 1 for 25 yards passing, and -1 for INTs and lost fumbles.



My RBs are Rice, Bradshaw, Blount

My WRs are Calvin, Britt, Marshall, Fitzgerald, and remarkably, Joe Webb, who is listed as QB/WR.

The guy I’m playing against has Danny Woodhead who is listed as RB/WR, and he’s used that dual role to his advantage this year. So if plugging in Webb as a WR was reasonable, it seems a bit odd, but I’d consider that.

Which five do you like (can play 3 RB and 2 WR, or 2 RB and 3 WR)?

I’m kind of thinking about Rice and Blount, and Fitzgerald and Britt, and then Webb as my flex. Is that crazy?

But it’s tough to sit Calvin, even with Stanton as his QB.

As far as I can tell, this is a really strange one…would love your thoughts.

I do not think I like it. I would keep White. I could think you might be able to move Mike Williams and Schaub for a QB you like ... maybe Romo? and still keep White

If so, Gerhart goes to bottom of list and ADP tops.Choice and Jennings could each be 2nd, depending on if either Felix or MB3 sits or MJD sits. If they all play, Morris vs Jennings ... with the lean toward Jennings.

Hey Jeff, Merry Christmas and I am very sorry about your loss. I pray that you and the rest of your family is doing alright with everything.

Made it to the championship, so just have one more victory to get. Its for the league and team in my signature.

No reason not to start Rodgers right? I like Kitnas matchup, and I don't necessarily have to worry about a reoccuring concussion, but assuming Rodgers is healthy and starts as planned, I have to start him right?

WR is my biggest dilemma. Right now I have Calvin, VJackson, and Austin as my starters, but am really having a tough time with them. Austin doesn't get targets, but has a nice matchup, Marshall had a great game last week, but can be expect the same against DET? Britt is a primary target, but so maybe he should be started over someone? Also, with VJackson, its looking like Floyd is likely out again, which is great, but would you still start him is Floyd plays?

thanks for the kind words. I am happy to help as I have/make time. It was only because of issues at the house that made us come home early yesterday. It will all be ok over time. It has been a tough year. I do want to wish all a Merry Christmas.
