WR Josh Gordon, KC (2 Viewers)

Just another advantage of his overweight, Teletubby-like physique - the refs can't see around his enormous gut so they miss those PI calls.

Back on the starship. FLASH aaaAAA, King of the Impossible!

Got him in the 5th yesterday to the the many snarky responses of "Geez early enough man" who obviously thought he was going to sit there and wait for their generous selections in the 8th or 9th round.

Got DHop, Cooper and Kelvin Benjamin to go with Gordon. So I'm feeling ok about the first 4 weeks.

It did look like he pushed off a little on his TD, but that still doesn't take the fact away that he's a beast. He was so smooth blowing by Grimes on that first big catch.

Anyways, I got Gordon in the 8th round this year in one of my leagues and I'm hyped. He has immense talent and as long as RG3 can throw the ball in his general vicinity, he should be able to go up and get it. In the meantime, I'll need Donte Moncrief to be my WR2 for the first 4 weeks which has me feeling a little uncomfortable.

This route is even more impressive than the TD catch. If RGIII had put up a better throw, we might be talking about Gordon going in the late-3rd to early 4th rounds after a two TD night as all the box score hawks would be bidding him up even more than they have. The old Baylor connection is a little rusty but showing potential. Both of RGIII's passes could have been better deep balls, but especially this one as it cost them a score. No worries as this is what pre-season is all about. I am sure they will see this on film and make adjustments to Phatty's speed as RGIII underthrew both passes.

Sequence of events for this route.

I did a mock based on my draft position and I'll take him in the fifth if he's there. I won't go earlier than that though.

Grimes had great coverage on the TD.  JG just made an incredible adjustment in flight to come down with it.

Grimes is good but Josh Gordon is simply an amazing wide receiver.

Do you use paper to wipe when you're done or the rest of your roster?

That would be hard since my roster is a figurative representation of a football team that cannot really be defined as a physical or corporeal object.  So just the paper then.

I know its been awhile since this record..  Heres something to reconsider about that two game stretch of nearly 500 yds.  In case ya had forgot?  He didnt play an entire game in both games.

Ya know its one thing for Coachs to think your special  Its another for us Fans to think the same  But when your peers think your DaMan?  (16th out of TOP 100)

Oh yeah, Were probably talking prime of his Career at some point this Season...October 16th , Browns play the Titans  (Ive read the Titans could be undervalued.. )  Think theres worse games to watch that w/e..

his ADP is climbing fast (as it should after that game last week) he went early 5th in the MFL100 I'm in right now, and he went 6th in a PPR redraft I was in last night (right after I took Lockett he was selected...doh...)

Hope he's filing a police report after all those muggings last night

I get it's week 4,but you gotta use the flag still, refs.

idiots will look at the statline and complain.

anyone who watched, saw a 100+ TD game nullified by preseason no calls. some absolutely brutal PI noncalls..

But that's good or anyone still to draft. Use it against fellow drafters. If they disnt watch, theyll think he busted v scrubs

So apparently only Gordon is allowed to "beast out there" while DB's are restricted to playing hopscotch.  Is that a "be nice to the fat kid" thing?

Still holding him in one league, traded him with Cam for Gronkowski in a TE premium so yeah, I'm really regretting that one.

Nice job ducking the point though, all that practice is paying off.

Per ESPN

Suspension mode? Receiver Josh Gordonhad a few "interesting" plays in the first half as he played in the second quarter with the second-team offense. On one, cornerback Jacoby Glenn stepped in front of Gordon for an interception. On the next, Gordon basically stood and watched the ball as Glenn reached around him to knock it down. Gordon was bailed out by an interference call against Glenn. Finally, Gordon flat-out stopped on a route and McCown's pass was nearly intercepted. Gordon has moments like that but then others when he looks unstoppable. On this night he looked almost uninterested. The preseason finale was Gordon's last game for a month. He will be suspended the first four games of the season.

This dope is such a head case.  He had two catches last week so this one wasn't worth the effort. No wonder no other teams are interested in him.

The hype on this guy is a bit ridiculous, part of which I think is due to draft hangover. He certainly has potential as a developmental player, but there's the character concern and more importantly his ability to run routes. He would have been a 3rd/4th round pick in this year's draft it doesn't make sense to spend more than 3rd when that pick will net a good player next year.
Yeah awful route runner,  coach.

Got him as my WR3 in a couple leagues and just followed up with another WR or two to hold his spot until he's ready. Absolutely no worries here.

"Outside of a few big pass plays, the offense has looked sluggish and inconsistent during the preseason, averaging just 214 yards and 11 points per game."

No doubt he'll easily average 150 of those yards per game. Gonna blow the lid off it in this high powered offense.

Seriously, unless something changes in a hurry, I don't see any Brown's offensive player being worth owning this season.

While DMac can you provide a team we should consider loading up with players?

I see alot of talk about Pittsburg players, but Im not so sure Im buying..  (think they got one win  off)

Eagles aint lost a game.. Gotta get you some of that right?

Where did I say anything about their record? Not sure what your point is there. Fact is, the offense has been pathetic other than a few long passes. The large production being touted in here seems completely out of line with reality with what is on the field right now.
