Serious Biz Dynasty Year 17 - Plenty of talent on the come (4 Viewers)

Is this Yadier Alvarez, Cuban SP available? I want him if so. Drop Anthony "my elbow hurts again" Raunaudo.

I don't have anything to say, but didn't want this thread to fall off of the first page of the forum.
I'm surprised pickups like AJ Ramos, Mitch Moreland, Nick Martinez and Josh Collmenter didn't generate more league chatter

Mat Latos available. :(

In return, looking for a bowl of soup, maybe throw in some crackers if you're feeling especially nice.

Would have given a good prospect for Frazier. :coffee:
I looked at your roster but then thought it was shtick, and moved on.
I can understand the confusion since you were under the impression that Baez is not a hack.
He's 22 with once in a generation power for a MIFer, I'll take my chances. No way Sparty or anyone else makes that trade on March 1st, this is a dynasty also if you check your voluminous notebook/Yahoo Finance log.

Apologies for not responding to trade offers the last couple weeks. I will have an updated OTB in good time. Most of my old guys will be OTB(Victor/Melky/Byrd/Rios etc.). I'm having trouble fielding a complete lineup between DL and M next to so many players names. <_<

Closers on the block! I want hitters and prospects. Pedroia can also be had for a younger guy. I'm out of it for a couple of years at least now. I am polishing my back to back championship trophies as I rebuild.

I have been offered two trades separately involving guys that may be brothers. Pretty funny. One offer was decent, one wasn't. Keep em coming. Closers for sale.....

I thought our pitching would be solid with Cobb, Wheeler, Fister, Ventura, and Tillman...but that certainly hasn't been the case. Not much you can do in this format when your top two guys don't throw a pitch, and your number 5 and your top closer are revolving runs doors.

I have too many good outfielders. I need to trade some for good players who aren't outfielders... maybe closers or upgrades at 1B or 2B.

Avisail and Yasmany are the most likely suspects. I'll listen to offers for studlier guys but I can't promise the asking price will be reasonable.

I went through every trade over the past three years in this league, some real doozies last year. Looks like a lot of them done by the two teams who left. '13 had almost no trades, '12 had some early season trades but then went quiet later.

Looks like at one point Eephus had Correa, Buxton, Boegarts, and Taveras.

I had a few big ones I think. I traded Ells at some point as I drafted him. Wainwright also.

Choo/Jones for Betts/Giolito/Reddick might end up being the best trade I ever made in fantasy sports.

But my first couple years in this league I was the one giving away top prospects far too easily.

I traded Bogaerts and Taveras for Pence and Kendrick to make a run at winning the league in 2012. It didn't work out that year but they were big contributors last year. It's a shame about Oscar. I kept following his career out of habit and was hoping for big things from his bat.

I remember picking up Correa and Buxton as replacements for my traded prospects a couple of weeks before the amateur draft. I think I needed a live body down the stretch that year so I had to drop one. I kept Correa thinking he'd replace Rollins someday and he's still on schedule.

I can do nothing right this year(in any league). On paper I should have had an easy victory, but thats why we play the game.

Yadier Alvarez (Cuba) Pik95
Dillon Tate (NCAA) Eephus

So I pulled the trigger on a decent offer but I'm looking to do more. Guys like Pedroia and Lester are great now but by the time I am in contention again probably not. I want some can't miss prospects and maybe even post hypes if they are in the show or close...
