21.03 Titans take Arnaz Battle, WR, SF

Between him, bradley, and ward, we have 3 WRs who are physical and love to block/play ST (at least hines did back in the day) and we can run trick plays galore as all 3 were Qbs at some point in their careers.

FUN!

20.28 Jimmy Kleinsasser, TE (Min)

He is probably a better blocker than anyone else on my offensive line.

Dang, nice pick. Was looking at him

Injuries are a big concern.

And talent...

:P

The guy is an animal.

So is my cat, but I'm not going to be lining him up at TE

From a guy who is pumped about getting the starting Philly LBs, I'm not too worried about your judge of talent. :boxing::boxing:

I just copied the Position tracker thread into Word and did a search for Dock and it didn't turn anything up. Is that thread wrong?

I am still smarting from using my earlier pick on Kwame Harris so this just brings me up to speed.

Gator, when you fix your pick in the round 21 tracker thread, you mind adding Manny Wright, DT to the Browns underneath it?

I gotta run...

Thanks!!

The Baltimore Ravens select:

21.13-- Brad Kassell, MLB (Titans)

You could certainly find a more talented player than Kassell at this position, but we love his journey into the NFL and the drive and perseverance that it's taken him to get to this point in his career. He isn't exactly the fastest linebacker you could have playing the middle, but boy howdy if he won't knock the ever-livin piss out of you when you run across the middle.

June 16, 2005

Brad Kassell thought his brief NFL career was over. Originally signed in 2002 because the Titans mistakenly thought he could snap to punters, the undrafted linebacker expected to be released last summer after nearly shredding his left Achilles' tendon when a picnic bench snapped underneath him. Nearly a year later, Kassell is the incumbent middle linebacker with the edge for keeping that job. Kassell had 14 starts, ranked second on the team with 128 tackles and finished with a career-best 19 tackles in a 24-19 season-ending victory over Detroit.

Seriously, he's one of my favorite players.

I considered him at my last pick for the Saints but went with a nickel corner instead. :wall:

21.09 Jason Campbell, QB, WAS

Will compete with Brooks for the job in camp.

And an epic battle it will be too.

One for the ages.

All we need is a QB that can hand the ball off, preferably throw a screen once in awhile.

The funny thing about this pick is Bloom traded me Campbell in our league. The kid has potential, IMO more so than Alex Smith or Rodgers (though not as much as Frye), easily more FF value than Smith when you factor in his team.

Of course neither Campbell or Brooks is Peyton, but then we want to win a Super Bowl. ;)
