Not necessarily. This wasn't supposed to start until Monday at the soonest. Guy could just be on a weekend trip or something with no idea we're starting.

Anyway, if he times out, he times out and gets replaced. Although I know technically supposed to be dropped to pick 16, but I think if you went through all the trouble of the 'draft' then we should just replace him right away. He's played in these before, so I assumed everyone in here had some idea of what's up.

Well, technically, the clock was turned on this morning at 8 am EST, right? He should have until 4 pm EST until he times out. But I agree, that's a rather ominous beginning to a draft...

We had some problems with him last year in PDSL4. At the 7:16-8:01 turn last year he disappeared for 30+ hours.Why do people enter these drafts if they're not going to make the effort.
 
Well in about 3 1/2 more hours, if he doesn't show up, we won't have to worry about him anymore. :pickle:

 
Please let me know when I can start whining.

This is a bummer of a start, especially when I know of a few drafters in PDSL IV that are top notch.

This is fine with me. It's one thing to be gone and haven't logged in the whole time, it's another to have logged in, noted you had PM's + signed up for these and then not pick anyway. Unless BNB has any major objections, this works for me. So unless CM picks in the next hour or so, we'll move everyone up a slot and it'll be Tex's pick.
 
Also, I'll be around until about 6pm PST if anyone wants to drop a list off. I really think we'll easily make up for lost time as long as lists are used if you'll be gone for any notable amount of time.

I have no issue with it. Similarly if Busman times out (WTF GUYS, I'm floored that we've already hit 2 no-shows.) which he will right before midnight, I'll pick and he can drop to 15 and everyone will move up a slot. We'll also look into getting a replacement if he hasn't at least checked in on the thread by tomorrow. At least now I know for the future not to bother noting if anyone has done it before or not. Should've just thrown darts for the last picks. :bowtie:
