im amazed at the number of friends i have that not only dont watch this show ,but havent even heard of it...what a waste ...its so much better than 99 % of the crap on tv right now...i try to convince them what they are missing but it falls on deaf ears ...you can lead a horse to water .......
I have a co-worker that watches everything. He's not interested in watching Fargo.

Same here. I even explain that it's about as close to Breaking Bad that I've seen. He just looks at me skeptically then goes back to talking about the Walking Dead or, worse, Scandal.

Really like the references to Jimmy Carter, gas lines, UFO sitings, peanuts, crappy economy, crappy cars of the era, and the general time period this season.

Yep, it's all done really well and it's another good cast. I didn't realize it was a complete reboot but they kept the Solverson family. Pretty cool way to tie it together while starting a whole new plot.

This season is the story that Lou tells in the diner in season one about the "Sioux Fall Incident".

I was similarly aghast at the number of FBGs, a sports-loving group if ever there was one, who claimed never to have heard of Grantland earlier this week. What do they read?

I mostly read this forum and the comments at the bottom of porn videos.

I didn't pay attention to the names at all. I completely missed that it was Lou. Safe to assume than the the little girl is Molly...maybe they already mentioned it and I missed it.

How many true stories of mass killings are there from this area and time period?

Awesome show.
The "true story" narrative is a weird joke that started with the movie.

From Noah Hawley, the series’ writer and executive producer...

Season One, was influenced by the Coens’ films “No Country for Old Men,” “A Serious Man” and “Fargo.”

Season Two will channel “Miller’s Crossing,” “The Man Who Wasn’t There” and “Fargo.”

I've yet to see anyone be given the high hat so not sure I agree

:lmao: classic

Good episode. Assuming the groups follow dunst to Sioux Falls for her seminar.

The dunst character is great. She's the epitome of a total wench masking it with Minnesota charm. I can't stand her.

I am standing by my prediction that she is an alien.
hanzee is going to be the alien. He was checking his watch to see what time he should be ready for pickup next week.
