Minnesota at Washington (1 Viewer)

Some key match ups for this game affected by injuries.

Everson Griffen is out, while Trent Williams and Ty Nsekhe are active for Washington at tackle. This should mean better pass protection for Cousins that was looking sketchy if they would have needed to start TJ Clemmings.

Without Griffen the Vikings will start Hunter and Robison at DE with Weatherly mixing in.

Jordan Reed and Niles Paul inactive at TE leaving Vernon Davis as their primary TE.

Right tackle Mike Remmers is out meaning Rashod Hill will start at tackle with Avantae Collins as the reserve tackle.

Hill has done better in pass protection than run blocking so the Vikings may have a more difficult time opening lanes for the running game.

Washington was two of their defensive linemen out, Tony Bergstrom and Matt Ioannadis.

Hunter with the tackle on Rob Kelly with Kendricks helping out.

Bootleg right Cousins finds Grant for a first down.

Kelly is able to break a tackle on the right side for a good gain on 1st down.

Cousins looking a bit too comfortable on that drive for my liking. Washingtons offensive line getting some good blocking.

!st play for the Vikings shotgun with Murray to Keenums left.

8 yard reception to Diggs on the left side.

2nd down run with Murray. Big hole Murray falls down on the play or it may have been a longer gain.

Double move by Diggs on the left side he beats Norman for a long gain.

3rd and 3 false start backs up Washington making it a bit easier for the Vikings defense to get a stop here.

Pressure by Hunter on Counsins, the throw is short, Grant comes back for it and makes the catch but short of the first down forcing the Redskins to punt.

Did anyone expect a shootout in Washington?
Most were expecting a defensive battle.

Arif Hasan on his podcast predicted a 31-28 Vikings win.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from this game.

Washington getting their offensive linemen back healthy and Griffen being out does take some of the teeth out of the Vikings defense.

2nd run with Murray for 1 yard.

McKinnon in on 3rd and 7.

Pressure on Keenum the defender getting outside of Riley Reif. Keenum throws to the left but no one in the area.

Roughing the passes called on Joseph for helmet to helmet hit on Cousins.

Anthony Barr being held on the play.

Short pass to Doctson on 3rd and long.

Washington lining up to go for it on 4th down.

Kendricks slips in man to man coverage and Cousins finds him for the 1st down.

Big hit on Kelly the ball is out. Kelly hurt on the play.

Kendricks recovered the fumble but it looks like Kellys knee was down before the ball came out.

Play action to McKinnon then Keenum finds Rudolph on the right side for a 1st down.

Keenum looking pretty good so far.

Play action Keenum has a ton of time steps up in the pocket and throws deep to Treadwell but a bad throw. CLose to being picked off by Josh Nornan.

Quick slant to Thielen who has a good run after the catch for a big play.
