Probability # 5 of 8 (1 Viewer)

We have an 8 team draft every year and the draw for draft position is done at the commish's house.

The commish and asst commish and wives are the only attendees. My team has 'drawn' the #5

draft position 4 out of the last 5 years (#6 the other year). WHAT IS THE PROBABILITY OF GETTING THAT

(THOSE) DRAFT POSITIONS THE LAST 5 YEARS ??  ANYONE KNOW ??

Well, each year you have a 12.5% chance at any given draft spot. (1 /8)

It's pretty hard to factor in the fact that you got number 6 one year, I'm not that intelligent. 

For the sake of simplicity, say you got it all five years. Getting the same position five years in a row is (I think) .003%.

I got this by .125 x .125 x .125 x .125 x .125.

Pretty sure this is accurate. But not totally sure
