    WR Brian Thomas Jr., JAX

Definitely not a joke. Coen and Waldron were together with the Rams for 2018-2020 so he gave his buddy a soft landing spot, unfortunately for Jags fans.

    WR Brian Thomas Jr., JAX

I would be more worried about it being "as Shane Waldron goes, Thomas goes". This guy has been a death sentence for WR fantasy production.

    RB Chase Brown, CIN

He was a workhorse back throughout his college career. He led the big ten in carries in 2022. Every RB has durability concerns, but he would be high on my list of guys that can handle it if anyone can.

    WR Matthew Golden, GB

Ya I'm with you. That 4th down throw by Love was a total miss and should have been a touchdown.

    RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS

What's even more unusual is the range of where he goes. In home leagues right now, it's anyone's guess if you can get him free in the 11th round or if he gets at the rds3-5 range or anywhere in between. I've seen guys skyrocket over a change in role, but not many cases where a guy might go in...

    RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS

The thing about "first crack" is it's incredibly valuable in this context because it's going to work and honestly would have probably worked no matter who they picked. It's a really good offense with an ascending QB. The odds they decide after a month, "this isn't working" and do something...

    WR Emeka Egbuka, TB

Yes and it still might be worth it. ADPs never rise or fall quickly enough with real news. In this case the news is, there is zero resistance to him getting out there and showing it day 1. If Godwin was known to be hurt and McMillan was known to be hurt before draft season started, this...

    RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS

I think it's an upset if JCM doesn't lead them in touches at this point. I'm going to be a broken record and say that the new price is still a bargain. They didn't even expand Ekeler's role last year when they were running out Jeremy McNichols. His role isn't getting bigger or smaller no...

    RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS

I see Ekeler in more of the Perine, recepetion thief (3rd and long, 2 minute) role than in a Gibbs role. If you honestly believe Ekeler is getting a Gibbs role in that offense, just pick Ekeler 2 rounds ahead of ADP in every draft and print money. The best comp to me is last year's Chase...

    Camp/Preseason darlings 2025

Probably a step below FF relevant for now, but Mitchell Tinsley is definitely a preseason darling for the Bengals. He has been awesome and Burrow is openly calling for him to make the team. The bar to pass Iosivas for relevance isn't very high, but his true upside would be if there is a...

    RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS

Other obvious RBBC guys have gone at the spot JCM is going now all summer. Giants guys, Jaguars guys, Browns guys. The difference is JCM plays on a great offense instead of a terrible one. At minimum he should be ahead of Etienne, Skattebo, Sampson, etc who are in the boat you described but...

1.01 Pick Strategy thread - PPR 12 team

If Bowers is an option, Bowers. I like elite QB in these types of leagues as well, but the 1 spot is also a great spot to land Hurts at the 4/5. FWIW, Chase and McBride play each other in the fantasy finals. Chase Brown is rising by the minute so he might be gone, but I do generally like...

Beware of Fanatics signon bonus offer Maybe not technically a scam but acts like one

They are applying what they said they would do, but here is the part I will agree is a scam. The entire reason they structure their sign on bonus this way is they know everyone is familiar with how everyone else does it and will not read the fine print. They want you to bet $100 10 times instead...

Why isn’t best ball and DFS discussed more on the Footballguys forums?

I could see eliminator being a more fun sweat than the other contests and I’m playing some teams, but I can’t help but feel that eliminator is way more luck than other contests. It’s going to be +EV though simply by how bad people play and fun to sweat. That’s a combo that gets me to play even...

Why isn’t best ball and DFS discussed more on the Footballguys forums?

The best part of fantasy football is the draft. The enjoyment is picking/building the teams in the first place, not sweating them on Sundays until we get to at least week14.
