Do the kickers score to the point they are important or can you go a week without a kicker? I have been in a few leagues that I have played weeks without kickers because they don't score enough to make a difference most weeks.
I would like to comment on the situation you have laid out when your opponent has WR/RB/TE for your QB. If you are favored then I would break a tie with going with the QB throwing to them. If you are a big underdog I would break the tie to go away from the guy throwing to your opponent...
Here is how I rank them:
Tucker: I have seen Tucker perform well at the NFL level. I am still holding on to him.
Taylor: I think he has the tools and shown glimpses. He is definitely being held back by QB play which will hopefully improve in the near future

This doesn't seem like evidence to me. As other's have pointed out there is a lot of different interpretations of what "gopher" wood represents. That is not evidence it is assumptions.
What I meant by that is just because you drafted someone (not talking specifics but generalities) in the first round doesn't mean that guy was a first round value. So trying to use that as a baseline isn't meaningful. How the player has actually performed is what matters.
