It's generally not up to the player. All of them want to do both and do until a coach stops them from doing both. Typically if you are a very good pitcher the coach will stop you from hitting because of the injury risk (getting hit in the hand or elbow). Generally it's not up to the player.

i just saw a replay and the pitch called a strike turned yellow thereby meaning it was a strike by robo-ump standards. So if we went full robo-ump this pitch would be called a strike every time.

To me it looked like he was out of it from the concussion. The way he laid motionless on the field pointed more towards a head injury and being knocked out then the collarbone. He looked dazed and staggering as he was coming off the field. I think the cart was because of that.

I think you have to get more for London. Waddle is not going to do anything consistent in that dumpster fire in Miami. Is there a better piece that Waddle that you can get in return. It's close but not close enough for me.
