I am trying to present to them a final version of my proposed changes rather than asking them for input as to how it should work. The intent of my post was to flush out any unintended consequences as well as anticipate questions that may come up.

My 10 teamer had another one of those years where scheduling played a major factor in weaker teams making the playoffs. We switched to doubleheaders about 6 years ago, which did help some alleviate some of the luck factor.

I run 2 10 team leagues, 2 divisions of 5. Regular season is 13 weeks and we play double-headers each week. You play your division opponents 4 times and the other division twice, for a total of 26 games. Six teams make the playoffs, 2 division winners and 2 wildcards from each division...
What happens to Grant next year if they do make a deal for a guy that is not just a rental for this season? Say they work out something long term with D Williams. Seems to be a bit of a tight spot, though you can't have too many good RBs as we are finding out the hard way this season.
