NFL TODAY just announced and showed graphic that AJ WILL play!!!!? WTH? It was a definitive statement too.. this complicates things big time if it's a mistake.. Anywhere else reporting same?
exactly- 65 yards and no one would be saying "wow, big game becaue Kitna wasn't throwing to him" Kitna targeted him 7 times in 1 half! They were accurate throws.. one was a big long play that would have been a td, and while it glanced off the defenders hands, Austin should have had it-- then...
And Austin did nothing to help Kitna... Kitna targeted him, was accurate, and Austin did nothing with it.. Guys are getting carried away with Austins one big play. kitna targeted him on a deep play too with a perfect pass, and Austin didn't bring it in... not Kitna's fault.
ur kidding right? Austin made terrible plays, drops, slips, wrong routes for both QB's tonight, , then one big play that was a perfect throw that made his stats look good. It was the same Austin as Kitna has been dealing with- he just got one big play. Kitna looked to him plenty the past few...
the only weird thing about the way he spoke is all year- since the injury- Kubiak has said - we're resting him in practice, doing our usual thing, but he'll be out there Sunday.............
Now it's we're resting him, doing our usual thing and he'll be a GTD..... Seems like a clear downgrade...
1. jackson is good-- really good.. i honestly didn't realize how much of a complete WR he is.
2. as someone posted early before the game, Jackson is making himself some money tonight (teams will be drooling over this video
3. The 49ers need to start scoring so this thing doesn't get out of...
With no other real recieving options for the chargers, can the 49ers just double up on him with help and shut him down, or is he and Rivers, and the scheme that good?
I agree. To me, I'd be more bothered by Ocho's comments. On the one hand, Owens is a paid employee and in a "real" job would be fired for slamming his owners and manager (coach). However, that line has been blurred and crossed by athletes for years.. Still what he said, is realy no different...
It didn't look backwards... I guess my eyes deceived me. It looked just like every little bubble WR screen like Steve Smith in Car would do to get 5 or 6 catches a game. AJ takes a couple of steps, pops back, Shaub throws it and AJ runs for a few yards.
oh well, it is what it is.
