    GM's vs. Head Coaches

Let's say you could choose between: An elite GM and average HC An elite HC and average GM What franchise would be better off?

    Ladarius Green's value

I'd bet on that number increasing to more than 5 as we go. The skillset is just too much to resist and after advertising this skill to Rivers and the coaching staff over the last two weeks, If we are going to see a full-scale breakout (and buy low before it fully bloomed), the time is now.

    Ladarius Green's value

Ladarius Green ROS...TE1? I think SD has to incorporate them more in their offense. Going to be the Graham/Gronkowski the year before their respective breakouts. Added him in all long-term leagues last night after some FBG reading. Thanks guys!

The "I benched Phillip Rivers against KC" support thread

Don't have a 2nd QB, helps solve these problems. As Sig Bloom says, use the waiver wire for your QB bench spot.

Up by 7, go for 2-pt. conversion?

But if you go up by 9, the other team has to get a TD AND a FG to beat you. It seals the deal.

Up by 7, go for 2-pt. conversion?

Wait, seriously? I think this is a worthwhile question. A 2-point conversion is a 50/50 proposition for both you and your opponent. If you are successful, you put them down by 2 scores and 'assure' a win. Going for an XP, the other team has a 50/50 chance to tie if they do get a TD. I'd say the...

Up by 7, go for 2-pt. conversion?

Up by 7 at TD, XP would make it 8, 2 point would make it 9.

Up by 7, go for 2-pt. conversion?

Let's say we're in the 4th quarter and you get a TD to put you up by 7. Do you kick an extra point or go for 2? I'd say you go for 2 to make it a 2-score game.

***The Audible LIVE*** 8/30/2012 10PM ET

I noticed in Bloom's post today, he mentioned that Jimmy Graham is in his third year of full-time football and that he should actually be BETTER! If Jimmy Graham 'breaks out' this season, what kind of numbers could you see him putting up?

    Dexter McCluster Upside?

Bloom brought up McCluster's name on his updated tiers and it got me thinking. He is an impressive physical specimen who can do amazing things when given the ball. Now there is talk of reworking him into a WR/RB hybrid (more so than he was before). The competition for carries is tough, but what...

    "Philosophical" Question

I just read a Rotoworld headline "Rivera: TE Olsen ready to join league's elite". I'm used to taking these comments with a healthy dose of salt, but what are some indicators to look out for during the preseason? How do you separate the 'legit' analysis and 'coachspeak'? Thanks.

    Impact of Campbell Injury?

Preliminary reports are saying Jason Campbell will be out for the year. Rotoworld's already offering their take: "Downgrade the entire Raiders passing game going forward." I wanted your guys' thoughts. Moore, Ford, and Heyward-Bey have eaten alot of my waiver-wire dollars this year...

    Selvin Young

Being a Broncos fan in a pretty deep league, it was painful to drop him this week. But as far as I'm concerned... He's useless for the next three weeks: This week he's out, next week he'll be eased in against the Patriots, followed by a bye week...But wouldn't you know it, Ryan Torain will be...

Do you have this owner in your league?

Well it's not as if you were offering him the best trades. If you held a draft today, Chris Johnson would be a 2nd round pick; in a keeper league, his value just increases. You're offering his Orton and Favre to cover a week or two of injuries. I would say he was more 'smart' than 'stubborn'.

    Joe Klopfenstein: Deep Sleeper?

Nobody seems to be talking about this guy but the more things I see about him, the more I could see him developing into a top 10-15 TE. My logic? A.) Madden Don't Lie: On Madden '09, he has an 83 for speed and a 79 for catching; he's a receiving tight end similar to McMichael. He was a second...
