I don't get the impression that teammates are losing respect for DeSean. In fact, I think he likely has support from most of the players who understand his situation. And, I wouldn't be surprised if it's caused a lack of respect from some of the Eagles players towards management.

I bet the guy would be more likely to come back at less than 100% if he had a contract. Since he doesn't, he might as well just "not be 100%" the rest of the season.

The guy submitted a full lineup. You can't make lineup decisions for another owner.

He should go high next year, especially in PPR. But I'm almost definitely going to stay away. Unless they get a new coach and offensive plan. With the current coach and Mathews fragile nature, I won't go back for him. I'm gonna ride him out this year and hope he helps me, but I'm done with him...

I didn't watch the game tonight. I see he got 16 touches. I really wish they'd make it a point to get him at least 20. He's clearly the better talent when healthy. I still fear a situation where they get behind early and he barely gets touches.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz was noncommittal when asked about Kevin Smith's (ankle) Week 14 status at his Monday press conference. Schwartz did say the Lions expected something to "come up" with Smith's ankle against the Saints, and that he doesn't believe "he's in a worse spot" than he was last...

This sounds like a good reason to have incentives at this time of year. Weekly points winners could discourage this. I don't think I could do it if it kept someone out of the playoffs...that could also cause dissension in the league...and might not ultimately be worth it.
