Good write up - I did very much the same in a 13 Team, PPR League. I was drafting out of #11 spot. My first 6 picks:1. A Johnson2. S Smith3. Ochocinco4. Addai5. Ray Rice6. CutlerRest of my squad:Ricky WilliamsLendaleOrtonSid RiceDaniels and VDavisVikings DSTKnoxGouldSo far I am 3-1, second in...
Im not a hater, i actually think he can be entertaining at times. I was playing off of all the other threads that bash the guy mercilessly. Just having some fun :lmao:
So it's easy to say Kornheiser stinks...but let's think WAY outside the box and think of some of the not-so-usual suspects that might make a good MNF crew.
How about:
Shannon Sharpe
Michael Irvin
Deion Sanders
now THAT would get interesting. And loud.
some very good points made here - I am glad I posted. I am in a PPR league, and the point regarding T Green is well taken. Seeing that Pace is OK is encouraging as well. Thank you all for the input.
I am benching SJax (my 1.6 pick, UGH) this week for Steve Slaton. Pace is hurt, Trent Green is gonna get killed, and STL will be playing from behind the whole game.
I wish I had Buf DST, they may pitch a shut out.
I was right about:
S. Slaton
C.Perry
L.J - at least to this point
R. Bush (as a solid #2 - low end #1) in PPR format)
The Detroit "running game"
Maroney and the NE running game
I was dead wrong about:
Cutler
Browns passing game
M. Turner
St. Louis being this bad
Kitna
Schaub
What...
I agree 100%. I guess where I am coming from is I don't care about the result, I care about the method of getting there. If BB wants to leave Brady in there to pound teams, then so be it - but I think it is foolhardy to do so, as entertaining as it is (for some people).
This is one point I agree with. Running up the score, I could care less. Having your franchise QB running up the score, that to me doesn't make sense. Let Cassel run it up if you want to. If Brady goes down because one or more teams house blitz him after getting pounded, there is a real problem...
Logic from a Pats fan - in this thread, you are right. It is a shock to hear any logic in this thread. As someone else already posted, if a few teams brought the house down on Brady's head a few times, he wouldn't be sitting in the pocket for 5-7 seconds. For some reason, teams don't do it - or...
Here is an opinion from a Patriots fan -I was giggling my butt off during the entire Redskins game. I'm glad the Pats stomped them. As someone else already posted, if you don't want the score run up on you, do one or more of the following:1. Devise a defensive scheme to stop the Pats offense2...
If it means he gets an extra series of work, I would care. That could translate into an extra 5-7 touches or more. This smacks of Chet going back to a 3rd down/change of pace back. I see the carries this week going from 50-50 to 65-35. That's purely a guess of course :lmao:
