Dropped him last week. Admittedly part of it was due to having same bye week as Stafford who I am starting (I know.... draft goof up on bye weeks). Picked up Alex Smith. Kaepernick had three (and now 4) straight weeks of poor performance. That is enough of a trend for me to part ways.

Excellent advice here.... I was that rookie at one point (thus the screen name). Similar buy in and redraft even. This whole thing could turn out to provide the best league stories if you are truly in it for the fun.

My immediate reaction after taking a quick look at point totals by position for the year (weeks 1-16) in our league is yes. We have ten teams in our league. The drop off from QB1 to QB10 (177 points) is much more significant than drop off from RB1 to RB10 (100 points)... it was even bigger...

That is a tough one because it varies quite it bit case by case in my opinion. I think alot of it depends on where you see the WR2 trending. Is he the heir apparent to WR1? Is his role increasing in the offense? Or is there a revolving door on who actually receives #2 workload week to week...
