This is why you don't believe all you hear.I heard it is epically terrible. Like Godzilla in the 60's laughable.
Is actually people who saw it or the knot heads that rate it 100% 3 months ahead of release day with the “Oooh can't wait! He's my favorite character " review?Going to see it Monday---all I need to know is RT has it at only 31% for the critic's reviews and an 89% for the people who actually saw it.
Are you implying critics didn't actually watch it?Going to see it Monday---all I need to know is RT has it at only 31% for the critic's reviews and an 89% for the people who actually saw it.
Except actually the critics are the only ones who had a chance to see it pre release....Going to see it Monday---all I need to know is RT has it at only 31% for the critic's reviews and an 89% for the people who actually saw it.
My wording was incorrect. What I mean is this appears (and I will pass further judgment Monday) to be one of those movies that critics are luke warm on and viewers like. Are you implying critics didn't actually watch it?
Put that in spoilers. Even without saying who it is I'm pretty sure everybody who follows venom knows who you are talking about.eoMMan said:Stay after the credits.
This expectation may have been the key to my better than expected experience. This looks so so awful.
Assuming you forgot about BaneHov34 said:Saw it tonight, thought it was good to very good. Will see a sequal, maybe.
A little silly with the cgi in the final fight, but it is a superhero movie. Hardy would be good in a hemorrhoids commercial.
This isn't right. We went and enjoyed it. It's not on par with the MCU movies, but it had good action and some laughs. I'd give it a B.I heard it is epically terrible. Like Godzilla in the 60's laughable.
Except it is a comic book movie, based on a character that was bonded with Parker. You take that away and well the whole damn thing is ####. Loses everything meaningful since both Brock and the symbiote hated Parker. Venom doesn't become an anti-hero till way later after Carnage is "born" from Venom.I think if you go in realizing its basically a buddy film between Eddie & Venom, you will enjoy it. If you go in thinking it will be a serious/evil comic book movie, you will hate it.
Venom is owned by Sony, Deadpool by Fox (soon to be disney/marvel?) I think.Could they make a Venom vs Deadpool movie? I have no idea who owns the rights to which character.
