Hmmm. Fumbles a bit much for my taste but he's got to be better than Perkins.
They should sign Lache Seastrunk off the Titans PS. Some thought he was the next Barry Sanders.I'd say it's probably unlikely that Bell plays on Saturday.
If that proves to be the case, we're going to need to sign someone. No way we can roll into the playoffs with Archer and Harris as the only 2 tailbacks. What are the options?
Oooof. I wouldn't be shocked to see them bring Jones in for a look. I wonder if any of these guys are in shape. Rice (don't think they even sniff him,) Brown, and Jones all haven't seen the field in at least 3-4 months. Tate probably most likely to be in game shape. They should sign Lache Seastrunk off the Titans PS. The primary reason I really didn't want to see Baltimore. Was rooting hard for the Browns yesterday.Ngata gets to come off his 4 game suspension. Certainly helps their D.
Talent may have left a few years ago but Michael Bush is available.Oooof. I wouldn't be shocked to see them bring Jones in for a look. I wonder if any of these guys are in shape. I think they actually considered signing him when they cut Blount and Cleveland released Tate. I suspect that he may get a phone call.Talent may have left a few years ago but Michael Bush is available.Oooof. I wouldn't be shocked to see them bring Jones in for a look. Think there's no way they mess with Rice. Wouldn't mind Tate.
I think Bell is fine long-haul but a hyperextension can be a multi-week injury. If he can't go, they have to bring somebody in, whether it's Perkins or someone not currently on the roster.Another tiny guy? Larod S-Howling.
In all that, hopefully Bell is okay. No structural damage is the word. :fingerscrossed:
Think McCain proved the worth of PFF. Of course I do (did) agree with Gay being underrated (not worth top $ though).Of course they're going to say that but is it true and do they really believe it? I don't think the situation is as grave as some (most) others do because if they can get better (which we think they have) in the front 7 that takes a lot of pressure of the DBs and by having Shazier who is not the liability Williams/Garvin are you can get Troy back into more of a rover role instead of a pseudo linebacker.this is interesting...
The Steelers are not in a hurry to rush Richardson into a role on defense. As it turned out, cornerback was not as big of a need for the Steelers as many analysts had believed.
Lake agreed with defensive coordinator **** LeBeau, who said Friday that he liked many of the free-agent cornerbacks on the roster. Lake singled out Antwon Blake, who joined the team in 2013, and Brice McCain, who was signed as a free agent earlier this spring.
"Antwon Blake is one, very fast, quick aggressive corner that I liked coming out last year," Lake said. "We were fortunate to grab him in free agency, and he's turned out to be very productive for us, especially on special teams. We got Brice McCain in the offseason, who I have been working with on the field the last couple of weeks. I'm really impressed with the way he moves.
"I think these guys are just getting started. They have the ability to cover and stay close to receivers. For guys who have been picked up in free agency that may have been overlooked in the past, I'm pretty excited about them. I think we have the ability to plug in and play some of the players we've picked up."

That said, the concern is depth, Ike is probably in his last year and Cortez is a FA after this year.
Heard this little tidbit about Brice McCain. He's rated the worst CB last year by Pro Football Focus and some people have heard that and think there's no way he makes the team. Some of those same people think William Gay sucks. William Gay made the list of most underrated CB by PFF. They say he should be making top CB money. So, take PFF for what it's worth.
Not gonna happen. Keith Butler is next man up. And Rex will get a HC job somewhere. My guess is the Bears.Just talking pipe dream here and there doesn't seem to be any sign of Lebeau slowing down but Rex Ryan running the defense would be pretty interesting if **** decided it was time to retire. I'm sure heads would collectively explode with Haley on offense and Rex on defense.
Good call I forgot how long Butler has been waiting in the wings. Not gonna happen. Keith Butler is next man up. And Rex will get a HC job somewhere. I'm hoping Rex Ryan goes the TV game analyst route. Not gonna happen. Keith Butler is next man up. And Rex will get a HC job somewhere. My guess would be they just find an excuse to put someone on IR to create a spot.Regarding bringing someone in (or promoting PS) for another RB body, who do they release to make room?
Heyward Bey or Chris HubbardRegarding bringing someone in (or promoting PS) for another RB body, who do they release to make room?
I think the more likely scenario is Rex as HC of the Bears and Rob as DCNot gonna happen. Keith Butler is next man up. And Rex will get a HC job somewhere. I'd have to go no and no on those, esp HB. He's usually in on nearly half the special teams snaps. Hubbard is a possibility since he's usually a healthy scratch. Would hate to expose him to free agency though since there's little depth. Justin Brown makes sense since he's been a healthy scratch and they have depth there.Heyward Bey or Chris HubbardRegarding bringing someone in (or promoting PS) for another RB body, who do they release to make room?
After Harris ripped off that 55 yard run I think he has some potential. He's not Bell though. And having nothing behind him, sorry Dri you've got a ways to go, is not a good idea. Still wonder who they move to make room.No surprise there. I don't think Bell plays this week, just hoping we can advance and he'll be back for Denver.
Doubt it. Can't have that happen on your team without it leading to echoes of more badness.PIT wold probably like to have a "redo" on how the Blount thing was handled right about now....
I think Blount is also the kind of guy content to coast until some team chases him off and he can run angry for a while. If he were still in Pittsburgh, I think he'd be sullen, stoned, and half-assing it like he was while he was suiting up for them.Doubt it. (and they give us trouble recently).Looks like an 0-16 season!2015 Pittsburgh Steelers

Away: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, ..........Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks
ROUGH!!!
Get 9 playoff teams.
plus... KC 9-7, SD 9-7, SF 8-8, Cleveland 7-9 x2. StL 6-10.
Thank God for Oakland.(and they give us trouble recently).

Son in law of Tunch Ilkin. Always wonder if that plays a part in them bringing him in. Good player though.Danny Coale signed to PS.
Haven't seen anything. They must feel they've seen enough of him. They liked Coale but he has had injury issues and was released due to injury. Was Justin Brown signed by another team? Interesting Coale gets on the PS instead of recently cut Brown.
I shudder to think of Antonio Brown lining up in the slot and across from him is..........Matt ElamRavens fan here, and I agree with Uruk.
Ravens will have to show something they haven't done all year to pull this off. Even if its just the ability to cover receivers.
