With the college games well underway and a few threads on the '07 class with good insight - I just wanted to look at and compare the upcoming class (assuming all underclassmen declare) with those of the last few years...

Obvisouly, this is related to threads that looks at [DYNASTY] rookie drafts... asking if you are a buyer or a seller of 1st round drafts picks...

With that in mind, if you had to pick one particular class right now based on depth and stud potential (some already are) - by position... which one would you want to build your team with and why?... We are looking at long term value here... The '03 class obvisouly has a better chance than the '06 class to have an immediate impact - but think long term...

For comparison purposes - I looked at the 4/5 first players selected in the draft for each position - because I want to look at the 1st round of [DYNASTY] drafts... and you can imagine that Michael Turner was not picked in the 1st round of [DYNASTY] drafts in '04 - even though he might become the best of his class?... I had to do this because it is impossible to know now which WR in the '07 class that will be drafted in the 4th round will eventualy become a stud in the NFL - while we know this for past drafts...

I went:

QB: Roethlisburger, Manning, Rivers

RB: Bush, Williams, Maroney

WR: Ginn, Johnson, Jarrett, Rice, ect

TE: Winslow, Watson
