I have the 10 spot tomorrow night and was thinking of wr/wr

Thinking of a team looking like this

QB - Eli/Favre/Delhomme

RB - Combo of JLew, FWP, Turner, Mcfadden, Graham

RB -

WR - Wayne

WR - Braylen

WR - Ward

TE - Heath Miller

A team you would be happy with?

I'm also 10 in a 12 redraft ppr, im liking Gore, Barber or Lynch before I go WR WR, but that's def the way to go if a quality back isn't there. Hopefully a few people go WR or QB before you.

My 12 team ppr is Labor Day Monday. I am having a tough time deciding whether to go wr/wr or rb/wr. I am looking for advice on how the drafts seem to be going.

Mine is tomorrow night, I'll post how it went.

Thanks!

I mean which sounds better? RW, Braylon Edwards/Fitz & Reggie Bush/Thomas Jones or Portis/Gore/Lynch, RW & Calvin Johnson/Anquan Boldin?

Hard isn't it?

I'm sitting same spot. There's a chance my RB hungry brethren may leave me with either Moss or Brady at same spot. I hope they both go before 10 but would find it hard to pass up on either at 10.

I forgot about Moss getting to me at 10. So I could get Moss, RW/BE/Fitz & TJ/Bush or Portis/Lynch/Gore, RW/BE/Fitz & TJ/Bush/Boldin/CJ2.

I'd be a little worried about taking Braylon at #10..just not sold on the Cleveland offense, they haven't looked particular good up to this point...DA is on the fritz with a concussion..Quinn looks just plain stupid out there..

:whoosh:

Not exactly the same situation...but I recently had my 10 team PPR draft and I did something I've never done - I took something other than an RB in the first round.

Like I said it's a PPR (1 pointer per) league (6pt td rush/rec and 4 pass) and I was drafting 7th...no man's land. We start 2 RB's, 2 WR's and one flex. As you can guess the first 6 picks were running backs so I took Moss at 7 and got lucky that it spurned a WR run behind me as Portis made it back in the 2nd. Here is what my team ended up looking like...

QB- Hasslebeck, Garrard

RB- Portis, Bush, Kevin Smith, Chris Perry, Kenny Watson

WR-Moss, Holt, Brandon Marshall, Marvin Harrison

TE - Gates, Scheffler

Def/ST - Bears (defensive/special teams TD's are worth 10 points in this league so I'm basically drafting Hester here)

I was very happy with this draft. I got lucky in that this draft occurred before the talk of a reduction to Marshall's suspension as well as Gates injury status still being up in the air. I got Marshall in the 5th and Gates in the 6th which probably normally wouldn't happen.

My point is....I think after the top 5 RB's I'd start considering Moss if it's a PPR. There's good value in the 3rd round at RB and having dominant pass catchers can give you a huge advantage.

I'm sitting at the 10 spot, too, and I'm seriously considering WR/WR as well. The second tier of RBs are just not that exciting this year, and bunches of WRs going in the second and third seems to be happening a lot. If you don't take a WR here, you're probably going to be left with second tier players all around. Better to get a couple of stud WRs or maybe one of the top 4 QBs and scoop up the decent RB talent that can be found in rounds 3-5.

I really don't like this spot very much, though...in the mocks I've been doing, it feels like I'm constantly trying to catch up to the draft, even in later rounds. Of course, I'm always surprised at the value people let fall in drafts, and I'm sure I'll be able to make up plenty of ground in the mid and late rounds.

heres my draft yesterday, there were a few rookies in the league, I ended up with Reggie Wayne at 12 and took Larry Johnson next

01.01 Tom Brady

01.02 LaDainian Tomlinson

01.03 Adrian Peterson

01.04 Steven Jackson

01.05 Brian Westbrook

01.06 Joseph Addai

01.07 Marion Barber III

01.08 Randy Moss

01.09 Frank Gore

01.10 Terrell Owens

01.11 Marshawn Lynch

01.12 Reggie Wayne

02.01 Larry Johnson

Why did you choose LJ over Portis or Lynch? KC's offensive line and QB situation does not look too good.
