i have been dealt this pick in one of my money leagues.
Not a fan of taking any te early so I wont do that. I do want a qb early and would take one of the big three if they fall to me but I dont think they will. Qbs go quickly as its 6 pts for all tds.
I am thinking the top 9 will go something like this. foster, mccoy, rice, AROD, Calvin, Brady, Brees, Chris Johnson, Mathews. Now, if news breaks that MJD is going to play week 1 I would take him. If no MJD, I'm leaning Stafford. Det has a nice schedule and I beleive hes a lock for 30+ tds, plays in a dome, lots of other things to love about him. after stafford I would take the best rb available out of forte, SJAX, or FJAX. Honestly, I like FJAX out of that group as I think Buffalo will be good and has a nice schedule.
The other RBs available around the end of round 1/beg round 2 i dont like because of the following:
Forte will score even less TDs than usual, but I do like him and would consider him
Jackson while good plays for the crappy rams. STL schdule also is pretty tough also getting old.
Not a mcfadden fan so he is out for me. dude plays 5 games a year
not a fan of rookies in round 1/2 so no richardson.
Dont like Cowboys running game so no demarco.
not sold on charles being 100%
So unless someone falls (most likley Rodgers, Brady, Brees), its MJD/STafford and then best RB for me. If I took MJD I would look for stafford/CAM in round 2. Like I stated, I want a top 5 QB and if wait past second round the best i could get would be a romo, ryan, rivers type in rounds 3-4. they go that fast. Great WR are availabe in rounds 3-5 so missing a great WR does not bother me too much
