Gutierrez is expendable for the Tribe, they're almost too deep at corner OF. He sports a good glove, but offense? Not so much. They should be able to easily replace him with Choo + Francisco.

Agreed, he's not blossomed as they thought he would at the plate. The Tribe are, and have always been, big believers in Choo and we have Laporta/Crowe/Brantley that will need to be seen in short time. They might have dealt Gutierrez last year if Choo was not going to miss the first part of the season.If you could promise me those situational side-arming stats from last year, I'll take this trade hands down. At the minimum it's worth a shot.
