I have the 3rd pick in a 12 team H2H league. The 3rd pick is the worst pick in the draft in my opinion. Pujols and Hanley seem to be safe and solid choices at 1 and 2. You can take the 3rd pick in a number of different directions. Anyone have any good ideas? I think Cabrera, despite the off field issues, is the pick to make.

In the grand scheme of things, your first round pick is probably one of the least important picks you will make. According to Yahoo, your choices are Miggy, Tulo, or Evan. For me, Tulo (or preferrably Hanley if he slips) would be the no-brainer pick because there is a huge dropoff in talent at SS after the big 2 and decent 1B's are a dime a dozen.... BUT, like I said, your season will hinge on finding value in the later rounds, not which of these 3 studs you take in the 1st round.
thanks for the response and i totally agree. i was just curious if anyone had some different ideas. consensus appears to be tulo or cabrera barring hanley slipping one spot. i was contemplating cano too but realized that wasn't a good idea even if he is the only stud at 2B this year. plus im a yankee fan so i may be slightly biased.
