News: NBC Sports reports that running back Chris Jennings, who was released by the Jets on Saturday, was so eager to get home to Ohio after receiving the bad news that he got pulled over for speeding. He was driving reportedly at 147 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone. Jennings was arrested because he had expired plates and a suspended license. He posted bond soon after.

Played at Arizona. Wasn't drafted. Spent a year in the CFL before getting picked up by Cleveland in 2009. Was in Cleveland's training camp in 2010 but was cut. Tried out for the Jets this season but didn't make the team.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess he was on the PA Turnpike. I have done 147 mph there. Incredibly stupid but it's tempting, as it's almost impossible to get pulled over unless you happen to drive past a cop and nearly everyone on the road knows to stay out of the left lane.

I was incredibly impressed with him in Cleveland in what I think was 2009 and a Thursday, Sunday, or Monday night game. He looked great to me, but I'm not a scout.

I'd like to know what he was driving. About 20 years ago in Germany, I dropped a ridiculous amount of money to rent a Porsche because they were threatening to put speed limits on the autobhans, and figured it was my only chance to ever drive that fast. They refused to let me rent a 944 turbo, so I got stuck with a 924.... top end was 144 MPH. Just one suggestion if anyone does this in the future... it a good idea to know what the word 'curve" is in German.

When I was in Germany a few years back, I was driving a beat old VW Rabbit. I understand driving 85 in a Rabbit and 170 in a Porsche are two totally different animals, but I had to laugh when i saw 3 signs warning of a bump ahead. I didn't see or feel a bump at all, then I saw a sign after the so called bump which read, "Sorry".The way the freeways in Santa Barbara and Ventura are deteriorating, we should have "Sorry" signs every 1/10 of a mile. :construction:

See the thread in the FFA about "how fast have you driven." I've done it. Lots of others have too, in the US. But I had a license, insurance, and current registration.
