I'll have to come back later and take a closer look but my initial impression is that even at 2 points/solo you had people drafting IDPs WAY too early. With sixteen teams, and the option of starting up to three RBs, I'd have been drafting RB, RB and RB again. And then maybe again, unless it looked like there was a run on QBs. There will be teams starved at the position after the draft, and then you can trade your worst starting RB for any IDP you want. In a 16-team league, with each team only starting 8 IDPs, taking one as early as the second round is utter lunacy IMHO.

Picks of yours i liked:

Evans - will be a stud eventually

Bulger - losing martz wont be as big of a hit as people think, linehan is good.

Hilton - should be starting quality

Moore - should start on the outside after peterson leaves.

Sirmon - will be totally recovered from ACL next year and get closer to pre-injury form

Brooks - has a lot more starting years left in him, will get gigs because of how few good QBs there are.

Picks I didn't like -

Davis - Bush is going to Houston and you just cant invest the #21 pick on a guy with such an uncertain future. would have rather seen a stud WR, or possibly Gates. The fact that you took ANOTHER RB in the 40s (Foster), makes this pick even harder to justify imo.

Greenwood - who knows what his future is in the 4-3. Daryl Smith should have been the pick there.

Thanks for the comments Bloom. Hopefully I get lucky and Houston trades down (I know you see Bush to Houston as an inevitable event ...) It was, in retrospect, an unneccessary reach ... but I was hoping to go 3 RBs/2WRs ... just as Dom may fizzle, I think Foster may pay off ...

This was an interesting draft, being prior to FA. A mixture of some very experienced IDP players, medium experienced (like moi), and totally inexperienced ...

I thought it might be interesting for all to see where these guys were falling ...

All in all I was pleased. I have 1.5, 1.7 and three seconds in the rook draft, so I feel like I can still do some good for myself ...

The 1.5 and 1.7 are terrific picks to have. You might be able to add a quality WR if you trade the 1.5 to someone who is hurting at QB. You are also poised to get the RB out of the 5-8 range that lands in the best situation...

you can take a look at this DRAFT from last yr redraft and only 12 teams but you can see that drafting IDP early doesnt always hurt as I took the 1st 2 IDPs in rounds 3/4...and i won the league and there were no trades and limited IR and WW moves too and i didnt go RB RB i went WR RBor look at this DRAFT

one IDP went prior to my pick in round 3 but my entire plan was to go LB 1st in round 3 this team went on to a 15-1 reg season record and scored the most points, here i went RB RB...so can you wait on IDP YES do you have to wait NO

Glad he passed on DARYL as for the draft that beaumont linked to I have rook pick 1.3 so that helps my team out at RB
