Million thanks, GB. I'm really a dabbler. They paid me for about five years in D.C. to just read, research, and write, and I'm as self taught and therefore faulty as the next guy or woman. See? I don't know whether that "therefore" takes a comma. But thanks anyway.

You guys talking about downsizing and operating costs...these people are rich. Insanely and infinitely rich. The money associated doesn't matter- they want what they want and they've got enormous staff to help run things (that usually need accommodating for as well). Not saying it's "right" but it's just a different mindset that's very difficult to comprehend, even when you work for them.

Yep.  When I see houses and excess like this, it just make me realize how even those of us who are extremely fortunate financially have no clue how truly rich and wealthy the top .00001 are.  

Even more sickening is that 50% of the country believe these mega wealthy folks need tax breaks while we cut services and food stamps for the least fortunate.
