Does he have a song in the poll? You put a lot of work into this, I hope you get a lot of votes...
I can only assume that Dodds will be dropping the permaban on EB since Devo wasn't included

1-Love Will Tear Us Apart
2-The Killing Moon
3-How Soon is Now
4-Blue Monday
YesI don't even really like Echo and the Bunnymen all that much but they did have a couple fantastic songs, Killing Moon is one of them.
How Soon is Now should probably be the winner. Great Tune.zamboni said:Of all those songs - irrespective of what you want to call New Wave - the best IMO is How Soon Is Now. Killing Moon would be a close second IMO.
One tune not there that I might have put above all is "Under The Milky Way" by The Church.
Yep - I voted in each poll - sorryMcGarnicle said:Way too much greatness to pick even 3 or 4 songs from that list. Love that early MTV era.
Guilty as charged. I'm a musicPretty tough on EBrown in here.
A few #### ups but a lot of effort here man. Thanks!
Weak sauce from '79. I expected more from youVideo Killed the Radio Star
Swamp Thing might be a top 10 80s song for meno XTC or Chameleons? not much of an 80's poll then...
I prefer Don't Fall. Both excellent songs by a great band. Strange Times is a top 10 album of the 80's.Swamp Thing might be a top 10 80s song for meno XTC or Chameleons? not much of an 80's poll then...
I didn't mean to be criticizing EB. He did a fine job of selecting many of the iconic new wave songs of the 80s. Impossible to list them all.Pretty tough on EBrown in here.
A few #### ups but a lot of effort here man. Thanks!
Well "Don't You Want Me" is also the Human League song that belongs on this kind of list. Just felt bad for the guy - had to take him a hour to post all that ####.Guilty as charged. I'm a musicPretty tough on EBrown in here.
A few #### ups but a lot of effort here man. Thanks!for 70s-80s Punk/Post Punk/New Wave/College/Alternative genres and sometimes loose my cool.Human League Being Boiled is a 70s song . Martyn Ware & Ian Craig Marsh were still in Human League before the left to form Heaven 17 .
