2 Keepers needed (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, thought this might be a good question to ask.

We have a rule of keeping 1 - 2 - or 3 players each season. 16 team league / PPR / Starters 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1Flex 1K 1DEF

I have 1st pick and I'm taking SAQUON BARKLEY, RB. I haven't had a top 20 RB for ever. Usually still do well by working the waivers.

For me to be able to use that first over all pick, I can only keep 2.   From these 3 top players of mine, who would you keep? Just curious

Travis Kelce KC / Drew Brees NO / Tyreek Hill KC

Hill and Kelce and it's not close.  There is a ton of QB talent and I think Brees isn't a surefire top 5 guy anymore.

As for Barkley, what veteran players are likely to be available.  I wouldn't necessarily pencil in Barkley but this is not having any idea of the caliber of veterans available to draft.    Can you keep guys forever?

I'll pile on for Kelce and Hill.

Brees is nice but is a replaceable asset with a QB in the draft and I expect a continued emphasis on the running game which brought Brees back to the pack of QBs.

Please give an option on my trade question.  Thanks!

Thanks guys. I'll keep those two than

As far as Barkley, the teams haven't put their keepers in yet. But I'm sure he would be the highest ranked RB available after the 30-40 keepers are announced. It's a great league, but it can be a tough one too. Really need to be good at bidding on waivers all season

Thanks for you help guys

Ohhh.   As far as how keepers work in our league.  Each team has a choice of keeping 1 -  2 or 3.  1st round is all teams keeping less than 3.  2nd round is for teams who kept 1. 3rd round starts the regular draft. Keeps a lot of parity in the league.
