2-point conversions and receptions (1 Viewer)

J.Stevens last night caught a Td and a 2-pt conversion. Apparently the 2-pt conversion does not count as a reception according to espn, nfl, or anywhere else I looked. Is this normal? Does the QB get it counted as one of his attempts?

I was curious as I am in a point per reception league.

never gotten a point for the reception on a 2 pt conversions myself. Don't think it counts, maybe because the clock isn't running??
