I think that a team thats far away from the playoffs needs to take a few chances on guys with huge upside. Even you'd have to admit that they did that. Sure they could bust, but its not like the Titans are going to win the Super Bowl this year anyway, so its worth the shot imho.

Yes. He'll be a tough guard and always have the ability to play the edge. A better guard than Jean-Gilles, imo.

Hes just a little undersized. I guess it'll work out.

Undersized for a tackle but not a Guard which is where he will play. Could be a killer once he gets some coaching.

Not sure that makes sense. His lack of strength and run blocking skills would suggest he is better suited outside, where he is facing lighter, weaker players. Ah well, guess we'll see what they do with him. Hes an upgrade no matter what they do.

I'm very unhappy with how this is going for Dallas. Not good. Not the year to drop like that. They just had a shot at a typical first rounder and and... :X

The character (and potentially weight) could kill Reese - no way he can pass this pick off on Fisher

I love McNeil, but of course I worry about the stenosis condition. Obviously the Chargers cleared him medically, and at 6-7, 335, he's a monster who should man the LT position for the next 5-8 seasons.GREAT draft for the Bolts thus far.

I'm not listening, but I'd guess that was Mike Greenburg, the Jets fan.

He's been hurt but in the games he played at the beginning of the year he was kicking but. Gil Brandt had him going easily in the 1st round and said it was a steal for the Jets. A Willis McGahee type pick.

Jets Look like they have really built an O-line, with Teague moving to guard, where he played in denver and Kendall and Mangold at center, and DBrick and Jones at Tackle, I love what they've done. Building the Foundation and still being one of the worst teams next year is great. Id trade #35 for someones one next year if possible now or possibly the best offensive Skill Position player available....If they Like White or Jackson, or Evem Clemmens if they really like him.

NO! This kid is a player. He has awesome technique and NFL quality hands already. He's a huge center who dominates. He's so tall, they checked him out at Tackle, and he held up very nicely against Wimbley and Lawson, very nicely. I thought he had a lot of value. This is surprising, but this kid is instant depth, very strong run blocking, plays anywhere on the line, and he's stroooong.

More on Cook. I'm really happy for him, btw. I listened to a ton of interviews and three different draftable DTs called him the toughest guy they ever faced. Just sayin'.

He's the 2nd (maybe even 1st) best center in the draft. He can play guard for the next year or two and learn the center position from Birk.It's not a sexy pick and I didn't like it at first, but now I love it as I was hoping they'd take Jean-Gilles with the pick, but this gives them more flexibility on the line.

I think the Griffin pick is lousy.
