Well, it's August and that means Training Camp is in full swing. This thread is so you can quit talking all that crap and put down a hard copy of your predictions for the year. Would be great to see them put down now so we all have something to look at and talk about, but edit them all you like until the opener on September 7th.

What you're picking:

Final NFL Standings by division, Entire NFL Playoffs, SB Champ, and then whatever else you feel like including so when we pull this thread back up in February, you can go "haha I told you all" or "doh".

What? Tampa's not going to win the SB? :homer: Good work picking only 3 teams that won playoff games last year to make the playoffs this year. :loco:ETA: Actually, the 2004 to 2005 season transition probably wasn't far off from 3, but you're setting up like an NCAA basketball bracket that has a lot of 13s beating 4s, etc. It happens, but WHICH ONE?

Only a maximum of eight different teams can win playoff games.... last year 8 games saw 6 winners. From '04 to '05 only 3 teams that won playoff games returned to the postseason in '05 (Steelers, Colts, Patriots). The other five winners (Jets, Vikings, Rams, Falcons, Eagles) failed to make the postseason. From '04 to '05 there were seven different teams, including five of six from the NFC. I fail to see how it's looney to project only 3 of them returning. It's easy to make fun of predictions when everyone is undefeated, but it's harder to actually balls up and put your own out there and open to criticism.Let's see what you got chief

As much junk is talked on these forums, I'm in amazement that only two people, including myself, have submitted predictions.

Everyone loves to talk, but when it comes time to throw down, the board is silent.

The attraction to these forums is to talk FF players and strategy. Predicting the exact NFL standings has some utility to FF, but it's not the focus here. So lighten up already.I don't know why you feel such a need to be a tool. Think that might factor in to the :tumbleweed: of this thread at all? I was mostly jerking your chain, but I'll give you credit for a good, researched response to my half-jested comment. For your sake, I hope the other stuff is mostly schtick. You've taken all the fun out of this already, but I promised to give you predictions so here you go:AFC:ColtsSteelersPatriotsBroncosDolphinsChiefsNFC:PanthersSeahawksCowboysVikingsEaglesCardinalsSB XLI: Colts over SeahawksMy AFC is way too similar to last year. I'll probably change at least one of the division winners before the season starts. I suspect my SB XLI pick will also change. I don't really get into teams until the season gets a little bit closer. My focus at this point is on players and their FF impact.

You're right, it is easy to make fun of predictions...Especially predictions as laughable as yours. The Seahawks were hands down the best team in the NFC last year, they've made the playoffs 3 straight years in a row, they have one of the easiest schedules in the league, they play in one of the weakest divisions, and they are fielding perhaps their most talented team in franchise history. If you don't think they are going to make the playoffs this year, you're delusional. Oh that's right...You're one of those brilliant football minds who believes in curses

We already had a thread like this with my projections. Why not just bump that one?

 just messing around, chill out heh.

Glad to see some love in this thread now though.

Lots of different SB picks. Seahawks, Broncos, Panthers with two appearances each. Good to see some variety.
