Thanks RW!... :bag:

I just got the division games out of the way (since we all know they play each team twice: once at home and once on the road) to have a better idea of the "out of division" schedule...

Baltimore plays Indy, NE, SD, SEA, NYJ plus the Bengals and Steelers twice. Ouch!Other than Cleveland, even their "easy" games could be tough: Buffalo, St. Louis, Miami, Cardinals and the 49ers.

I am not a Bills fan, but holy ####, that is a brutal. If Miami gets a healthy, revived CPepper the Bills maybe an underdog 15 weeks.

So who does Indy open the season on thursday nite with?NEpats, Saints, Chiefs or Broncos?
Why not the Chargers at SD? Does the SB winner automatically get the Thursday opener at home?

The last three years it has.2006: Mia@Pit2005: Oak@NE2004: Ind@NE2003: NYJ@Was2002: SF@NYGI think the first couple of years they used NY to make sure they got big numbers, but the SB winner at home shtick is probably the plan going forward.

If they go 5-11 next year on that schedule they might as well stay home and bake muffins.

My guess is that the Colts open with the Saints... Hang the banner, play the feel good story of last year while the season is young, have the ties back to Archie Manning as the Aint's QB, save the juicy InterConference games for later in the season when they mean more.

The locations for the first two games were chosen to show support to -- and promote tourism in -- the New York and Washington regions as they recovered from the events of 9/11.From nfl.com
