Had a blast this year! Thanks FBGs174.35 Ouch, that'll leave a mark!
Had a blast this year! Thanks FBGsRodgers saved my tail last night. He picked up 31.00 and I managed to beat the cut with a total 176.60.Sitting at 168.15 with ARodgers(-22.55) and Saints(-19). I'm probably out of the contest, but this was the longest run for me. I was done in this week by bad performances by CJ4.24, Slaton, Marshall and O Daniels. Here's hoping for a low scoring game tonight!Unofficial Pre-MNF cut = 167.55

Thank you Drew Brees, thank you!probably done this week unless Brees goes ballistic. It was a good run.
If you are still alive and he's not injured, I wouldn't consider that wasted at all.180.5 and still alive.Gonna be close next week as the common players get more common. Wish I wouldn't have wasted the 30 on colston now.
As a colston owner I'm looking at it the same way. He just might be the difference maker for his owners if we can get him to produce. There can't be many of us left.If you are still alive and he's not injured, I wouldn't consider that wasted at all.180.5 and still alive.Gonna be close next week as the common players get more common. Wish I wouldn't have wasted the 30 on colston now.

:SnoopyDance: From 90% survival probability Monday morning to making the cut by less than a point. I'll take it, but that's pretty ugly right there.Doug Drinen said:

164 before last nights game and 182 afterwords. Praise God and Drew Brees!no kidding. I thought I had no chance. I had like 153 with only Brees & New Orleans defense & ended up making it by 1.5 points.. I believe this is it. 384 (76.8%) teams have Warner AND Slaton.Yeah for the 500 teams remaining, I would like to know which teams have what players. What page on this thread was the link to "teams left with which players"?
You can use the query tool in my sig.Good luck to everybody in week 13! No idea how I've made it this far, but I'm not complaining. What page on this thread was the link to "teams left with which players"?

255 (51.0%) teams have Warner AND Slaton AND Keller.
169 (33.8%) teams have Warner AND Slaton AND Keller AND Ricky Williams.
I don't get this. If your unique players do poorly your going to miss the cut. If you use all the common players scores you will get beat because someone else will be using most of the same players plus a couple scores of more unique players and will have more points.I understand you want the most unique team possible after this week, but you have to make it past this week.I was pretty happy last week when I had Warner, Slaton, Ricky, Marshall, and Cotchery on my team and all were on my bench. It meant that those common players were going to be less common since a higher percentage of their owners were going to be cut.Seems to me that I am going to root for my less common players so that the number of teams with Warner, Slaton, Ricky, Marshall, Smitty, Keller, and Cotchery will get a heavy cut. Then (knock on wood that I make the cut) in the finals, I will be rooting for big weeks from a mix of common and unique players. Personally I will be pulling hard for Selvin Young to lead the leage in RB scoring the last 3 weeks!I am at work and the subsribers page is blocked, can anyone tell me how many of the 500 teams has Selvin Young? Thanks!Dirty Weasel said:My only players left under 10% owned are Tony Gonzalez, Maurice Morris, Reggie Williams, and Leon Washington. With a cut expected to be in the 170's again, do I actually have the nads to root against ANYONE on my team?

i'm one of the remaining teams with bush and romo 108326 baby. You want to talk about potential difference makers, I'm one of only 12 remaining teams with Reggie Bush and one of only three teams with both Bush and Tony Romo. Both of these will definitely be playing for something down to the wire. Here's hoping....
Check out Team 103072: Romo and Warner at QB; Bush, Portis, and Thomas Jones at RB; and T.O. and Boldin at WR. Bush here also.. but I don't see him making an impact down the stretch. I think with Thomas' emergence there is no need for the Saints to abuse Bush - his touches will most likely be very limited going forward, and the fact that he did not return this week leads me to beleive the injury is worse than feared.I'm also one of the 12 with Bush.. Hello, 100265. The point is that using the most common players just puts you in a huge bucket with other teams - you don't gain any real separation, which means you're at a higher risk to be cut because the 1 or 2 unique guys you have to use maybe didn't score as well as somebody elses more unique players.Who says someone using their most common players will get cut? Point taken. I have 6 players owned by at least 250 teams, and another 5 players owned by at least 125 teams. That's exactly half my team. These 11 players would be:QB - Warner, CutlerHello, 100265. Sure, all these guys are common, but how many teams still alive have ALL of these guys? Only one.
To me, the bigger concern is big games from guys I don't own, but many other teams do. When you have to outscore 50% of the field to advance, that puts you in a big hole in a big hurry.
I didn't look up everybody, but I believe the most commonly owned position players are:
Warner (402 teams), Brees (190 teams)
Slaton (463 teams), Ricky W (330 teams), Ray Rice (290 teams)
Marshall (257 teams), Cotchery (167 teams)
Keller (333 teams)
A big game from Warner doesn't hurt me since I own him, it just doesn't help much, either. But a big game from Brees could knock me out (and came within a point of doing it last night!).
If Warner, Slaton, Ricky, Marshall, AND Keller all have sub-par games (pretty unlikely, but for arguments sake), that means the 102 teams who have all 5 of those guys are probably in big trouble. Even though it hurts me because I own 3 of them, I end up ahead of the game because of the other 2. Then I just have to pray for a big game from a couple of my other guys to pull me above the 250 point.
