Where's you hear that, tategjs?NFL SCHEDULE RELEASE 2PM TUESDAY APRIL 15TH. YAH BABY!![]()
link? couldnt find itNFL.com has it
I dunno, I think Jax is higher profile right now than Tennessee because of their showing in last year's playoffs. Yes, I'm a jags homer but I would think Garrard and MJD are bigger pulls right now than Vince Young. This is just my guess, but it is the Lions turn to play an AFC team on Thanksgiving this year. The AFC teams that come to Detroit are Jacksonville and Tennessee. I would think that you can pencil in the Titans on Thanksgiving this year.
There are few days like this one. We know the schedule for 2008 is coming out in a matter of hours, minutes. It's an agonizing wait, and it's one of the most enjoyable times of the year. What do I hear? I hear the Eagles are opening at home. I hear the road trip to San Francisco comes early, and then the road trip to Seattle comes in October. I hear the Eagles could host a game on Thanksgiving night. I hear the Redskins could be coming to town in October, with the Eagles playing at Washington in late December.I hear all kinds of things, but how much of what is whispered about now actually comes true?
No way. Talk about a reason to talk to the in-laws, this would be it.I've heard a rumor that Cleveland @ Buffalo will be the Thanksgiving night game... no source was given to the rumor though.
Yes cause sorry ### Detroit or Miami is always fun to watch. No way. Talk about a reason to talk to the in-laws, this would be it.I've heard a rumor that Cleveland @ Buffalo will be the Thanksgiving night game... no source was given to the rumor though.
Would this be a Buffalo game (not a Toronto game) since Canadian thanksgiving is in October?Rumor on WGR550.COM sports radio Buffalo, that the Bills may be involved in the 8:00pm thanksgiving NFL network game.Hope its true doubt it though
I don't know. The VY hype may be dying down some, but it's still there. Jacksonville doesn't even sell out its own stadium, Tennessee doesn't have that problem (less seats IIRC)Garrard, although he might be the better QB, won't draw fans like VY does. But then, it isn't always the most hyped team that makes it to Turkey Day. they may want a better game - Jacksonville would be a blow out.I dunno, I think Jax is higher profile right now than Tennessee because of their showing in last year's playoffs. Maybe a Saturday game is in order? (Oct. 18)Would this be a Buffalo game (not a Toronto game) since Canadian thanksgiving is in October?Rumor on WGR550.COM sports radio Buffalo, that the Bills may be involved in the 8:00pm thanksgiving NFL network game.Hope its true doubt it though
STOP LISTENING TO GR 55.I've heard a rumor that Cleveland @ Buffalo will be the Thanksgiving night game... no source was given to the rumor though.
That means Titans-Lions on TGiving and the Colts visit Jax late in the season when the heat is no issue.A co-worker just passed on this (says he has a contact at Jaguars... I can't verify):No Thanksgiving gameSteelers here onSunday night.Indianapolis here on Thursday night. One away Monday night game.
BROWNS-EAGLES ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT?Posted by Mike Florio on April 15, 2008, 12:00 p.m.It’s two hours until the sheet is pulled off the 2008 schedule, and the leaks continue. One comes from Eagles’ web guy Dave Spadaro, who writes of rumors that Philly will host a game on Thanksgiving night.Based on a recent report from Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, who wrote on April 1 that the Browns will play on Thanksgiving night, and given the fact that the Browns and Eagles are due to play this year in Philadelphia, it looks like the Turky Night game will be Cleveland at Philly. The Browns lead the all-time series, 31-14, with one tie. The Eagles last defeated the Browns in Philadelphia in 1967, and the Browns have since won four straight there, with the last win coming in 1994.If, of course, we pretend that the pre-1999 Browns are really the post-1999 Browns, and not the Baltimore Ravens.
Eagles beat the Browns in 2004 in Cleveland, I beleive the game was in OT - Florio wrong once againLooks like PFT ha smashed the Eagles on TGiving rumor together with the Browns on Tgiving rumor. I don't know if they're adding 2 plus 2 and coming up with 5 though.

One thing I know about that sked....KC fans will know what kind of season it will be by the end of the OAK game. Go 3-1, and it is full speed ahead, even 2-2 would probably mean an improvement.....but start 1-3 or 0-4 and we can pack it up early. Arrowhead will be empty the last 6 games.1 -3Sports Radio 810 just leaked KCs 1st 4@ NEvs. DEN@ ATLvs. OAK
