How'd you get that? I see the 2007 standings differently when I pull them up. I'm probably overlooking something.Oh, and can you post the 2005 standings for Anarchy2? I figure a lot of us from that league have been A1 the last couple of years. Thanks! (Yeah, that's exactly why I want to see them posted...haha.) :goodposting:

Btw, I was curious as to how I've done in these Anarchy leagues through the years. And I came upon something very interesting. But before I get to that, for anyone who may care (I expect that is no one), just b/c I took the time already to check:

2008: 3rd

2007: 13th

2006: 9th

2005: 1st (in Anarchy2)

So two top 3 finishes in 4 years is pretty good, right? Especially considering one of them was the top spot.

Now here is where the patting myself on the back ends and I get to the interesting part. When I was checking previous years' league standings, I noticed that Bass-n-Brew has finished in the top 3 each of the last 3 years. I think that is very impressive in a league of 16 teams...so congrats to you. He has finised with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place standing in each of the last 3 years. Very impressive!
you drafted 13th in 2007. you finished 16th.http://ffplace.com/anarchy2007/a1index.htm

BnB has done well, but he finished 6th in 2007 and 8th in 2005. So, he's finished in the top half for all 4 years but wasn't top 3 for 3 years in a row.

I guess I was looking at the wrong thing. But I did win the whole thing in Anarchy2 in its first year; and came in 3rd in Anarchy1 last year...so at least I got that going for me! :goodposting:

Interesting2900

2908

2943

2757

Were my yearly totals. Surprising how consistant that is and how much difference a few pts and a year can make in the standings. I've been trying to tweak my draft formula but it's appartently not making a diffference.

Since Sonny was asking . . .

Projections as of 9/1:

Bfred 2893

Yudkin 2879

Dickey Moe 2852

SLBD 2829

Carlton 2819

Purple 2819

ARud 2814

Woodrow 2772

HTF 2772

LHUCKS 2752

Jurb 2741

Twilight 2724

Gatorman 2714

Unlucky 2699

MOP 2660

renesauz 2589

Been quiet here, but I just have to comment on this week. I sincerely doubt that a team has ever scored EIGHTY points by their two defenses before this week and my SF/HOU combo. That one week total is bigger than 14 teams' 3 week totals on the year (equal to Wood's, beat by Purplehaze.)

My team blew chunks this year. Of course, my A2 league team ALSO was horrible, so I think I need to retool for next year. I'm going to have to gut the coaching staff, cut a ton of players, and start from scratch . . .

1.11 Wayne, Reggie IND WR

Ranked as the #1 WR, so can't complain.

2.06 Boldin, Anquan ARI WR

Ranked 21st, so a mild disappointment.

3.11 Brown, Ronnie MIA RB

Brown was lighting it up until he got hurt. When he went down he was ranked 8th.

4.06 Hines PIT WR

Ward ended up 14th, so a decent value play here.

5.11 Johnson, Larry CIN RB

When you have someone switch teams in the middle of the season, that usually means things didn't work out and you can only hope to get something from that guy on a new team. Braylon Edwards did better for the Jets, but even he may not have earned back his draft spot.

6.06 Mason, Derrick BAL WR

Ranked 18th and I believe I drafted him when it looked like he was going to retire. I ended up with 4 guys in the Top 21 receivers, which was the highlight for this team. For ha-has, go compare this group of receivers to my Anarchy 2 team.

7.11 Lewis, Jamal CLE RB

Only played in 9 games and didn't do much even when he played for a quality 59th finish.

8.06 Chiefs, Kansas City KCC TMQB

I want some more of what I was smoking then. Well, maybe it's not as bad as I think. KC was the 19th QB off the board and 23rd. But I probably could have got the same production 8 rounds later.

9.11 Taylor, Fred NEP RB

What were the odds a 32 or 33 year old RB would get hurt? They couldn't have been very high . . .

10.06 Crabtree, Michael SFO WR

Obviously I wouldn't have picked him if I knew he was going to hold out for so long . . .

11.11 Titans, Tennessee TEN Def

Note to self: Wait on defenses, they aren't worth mid round picks.

12.06 Engram, Bobby FA WR

Last time I believe the resurgence projections from multiple sources.

13.11 Elam, Jason FA PK

Elam getting released was the last think I saw coming this year.

14.06 Buccaneers, Tampa Bay TBB Def

Too early and certainly not earth shattering.

15.11 Baker, Chris NEP TE

Paired with David Martin, getting no production from TE killed me.

16.06 Hanson, Jason DET PK

Unlike Elam, he did his job. He kept his job all season and didn't get hurt, which is really all you can hope for in leagues like this.

17.11 Titans, Tennessee TEN TMQB

Ended up 22nd which isn't so bad as the 29th TMQB selected.

18.06 Martin, David FA TE

DOA, which certainly didn't help.

Overall I took too many guys that didn't play or got hurt, and when you don't hit home runs from mid to late round picks you are in for a long season.

Yet another top six finish for team LHUCKS...although I've only won once, I consistently place in the top half.
